Unveiling of God no 55

To Believe and to Understand part 2

October 7th, 2018

Brian Kocourek, pastor

This morning we began looking at the difference to believe and then to understand. We saw how that people can actually believe what they know not as Jesus said the Gentile worships what he knows not. But to believe what we understand is so very important if what we understand is Truth.

We spoke this morning concerning the five-fold ministry how that there duty to the church, and the body of Christ is to teach them and bring them to the place of a maturity in the Word that they will not be carried away by every doctrine and cunning craftiness of man.

In Jeremiah 3:15 we read, And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

And from his sermon Mary's belief - 61-0121 30. Now, listen, friends. Don't take a substitute. Don't just shake a man's hand and put your name on the book. That's... as far as it goes, that's all right. It might help you to get out of the saloon and get in a decent place and try to live right. That won't do it though."Except a man be born again he cannot even See the kingdom of God." Now, "See" means "to understand." There's a lot of people that say they're born again and can't understand the message of God, can't See the Angel of the Lord. Their eyes are blinded, brother. Except a man be born of the Holy Ghost, the same Holy Ghost that wrote the Word will confirm the Word, and the same confirmation of the Holy Ghost in you... You See what I mean? It will bear record of Itself.

And that is why I am trying by God's grace to get that notion out of your mind that as long as you just believe you will receive the promise.

Hebrews 11:6 says But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

And faith is a revelation, something that has been revealed to you. It is not just a belief system, it is an actually making known to you, which speaks of understanding.

And in the Book of Ephesians we are taught by the apostle Paul that the Parousia Presence of God will bring forth a Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation in the knowledge of Him. When it speaks of a knowledge that speaks of understanding.

Ephesians 1:18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

In brother Branham's sermon Adoption or placing 60-0522E P:87 where he speaks to us concerning the time of Adoption he says,  "Wherefore I also..." Paul's just telling now what he is. I'll read the rest of this, and then we pray for the sick. "Until the possession, this is the earnest until the possession, unto the praises of His glory."Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith... (I heard that you believed this stuff; I heard that you really believed in predestination, Eternal Life, and salvation, and so forth)... in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all... saints,Cease not to give thanks to you, making mention of you in my prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in... knowledge of him:... (Just keep revealing Himself to you all the time, growing from grace unto grace, from power unto power, and glory unto glory. Not fall back; but from glory unto glory, keep moving on. I'll keep praying for you.)The eye--the eyes of your understanding...

And in his sermon Seventy weeks of Daniel 61-0806 P:36 he says " God don't have things out of cater. He's just letting it run like that for a little time. And I truly believe that that thing was done, and at this last days is when God is going to reveal these secrets to the church. He hasn't done it before, and the reason He hasn't done it is to keep the church a-watching and praying all the time, not knowing when it was coming. But you remember in Daniel 12 He said, "The wise shall understand in this last days"? It's been given to him. The Spirit of wisdom comes into the church to make known to the church by the revelation of the Holy Ghost bringing the church in and revealing what day that we're living in. Just the same as Gabriel come to Daniel, the Holy Spirit comes to the church in the last days to reveal these great, deep, secret things. Do you understand now?

So what we wish to bring out tonight is this, that your experience with God begins with faith which is belief, to believe, but once God fills you with His own Spirit that Faith opens up to you and understanding of the Word of God and the promises of God.

You hear it, that means you understand it, and when you understand it, that means you recognize it, you understand it, you recognize it, and then you act upon what you recognize and understand, then it becomes yours.

Well the word reveal means to make known, in other words to make you to understand. That is the ministry of the Parousia Presence of Christ in this last hour. Now, the best Scripture I can give you is to show you the very purpose of God sowing the Word in this age when the son of Man came forth with a Shout, a Message to teach the people.

Matthew 13:10  And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? 11  He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. 12  For whosoever hath,(echoes) to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath (echoes) not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. 13  Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. (so it is all about understanding) 14  And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: (you see they do not understand nor do they perceive what the Shout is all about.) 15  For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. 16  But blessed are your eyes, for they see: (they understand) and your ears, for they hear. (they understand to perceiving) 17  For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see (understand) those things which ye see, and have not seen (understood)them; and to hear (understand) those things which ye hear, (understand) and have not heard (understood)them. 18  Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. 19  When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. 20  But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; 21  Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.  22  He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. (in other wordfs the cares of this world get in the way of your understanding) 23  But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also (because they understand it) beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

Therefore the whole parable of the Kingdom of God is about our hearing and understanding, our seeing and perceiving the big picture.

Notice what John Teaches us in 1 John 2:20  But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. 21  I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.

1 John 5:20  And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

And the Apostle Paul tells us Colossians 2:2 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;

Colossians 1:9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

Ephesians 5:17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

1 Corinthians 14:20 Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men.

1 Timothy 1:7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.

Ephesians 4:18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

So this misunderstanding that you do not have to understand, all you have to do is just believe does not speak the full Truth of what the Spirit saith through the Word of God.

Now, to understand the difference between to believe and then to understand we need to look at the definitions of these two words because as brother Branham said, these are two different words and they mean two different things.

Therefore, let's just look at the definitions of these two words.

Believe: Verb - to have confidence in the truth, the existence, or the  reliability of something, although without absolute proof that one is right in doing so:

Belief: Noun - something believed; an opinion or conviction: such as a belief  that  the earth is flat.confidence in a truth or existence of something not immediately susceptible to a  rigorous  proof: a statement unworthy of belief.

Now, let's contrast that to the definition of understanding or to understand

Understand: Verb - To perceive, apprehend or interpret correctly.

So you can believe in something even though you do not have any clue what it is you are believing. In other words, you can believe error and be damned by it, and yet think you are believing Truth. But to understand shows perception, apprehension and a correct interpretation.

In the parable of the Sower we see how important it is to not only receive the word that is sown but to understand it. Matthew 13:23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

Matthew 13:19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

So when brother Branham tells us that we must believe he is not saying in just anything, but he is speaking of God and His Word. And not just believing in God for the devil believes and he trembles. But to believe God through believing His word means you have a faith in God's Word to be truth. To have confidence that what God says cannot be wrong in any way shape or form.

His unfailing words of promise - 64-0120 65 Now, but what you're doing now, you're going to accept Eternal Life. Look what Jesus said, "He that heareth My Words ('Heareth' means 'to understand.' See?)... He that heareth My Word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, has Everlasting Life, and shall not come to the judgment, but's passed from death unto Life."

And brother Branham is referring to 1 Corinthians 2 here where the apostle Paul said the natural man, the man who has not been born again cannot understand the things of God. In fact he said the things of God is just foolishness to him, But he also told us that it takes the Spirit of God in you to understand the thing of God. and we read that this morning so no need to read it again to save time.

Calling of Abraham - 55-1116 29. That's the way. When God says so. See? A Christian does not calculate, or does not look at things he Sees. You don't See with your eyes anyhow. You don't. Certainly you don't See with your eyes. You look with your eyes. You See with your heart. "See" doesn't mean "look." "See" means "understand."Jesus said to Nicodemus, "Except the man be born again he cannot See the Kingdom of God." See what the right translation that is, "cannot understand the Kingdom of God." Somebody be doing something, showing you. "I just can't See it." You're looking at it, but you don't understand it. And you'll never know what the Kingdom of God is until you're born again, then you'll understand what It is. You'll know what makes people happy, what makes them stand right out in the midst of difficulty, and say, "It's so," never move. They understand. God said so.

Stature of a perfect man - 62-1014M Jesus said, "Except a man be born again (St. John 3) that he can't even See the Kingdom." Now, that means... "See" means "to understand." You look at anything and say, "I just don't See it"; you mean you don't understand it.  46. A man can't understand why people shout. A man can't understand why a human being's language would change, and he'd speak in tongues. The natural man can't see how a glory of God would come over a man's eyes, and he'd see vision and tell men of certain things and what to do, tell them things that's fixing to happen, things to come to pass, like the Lord did for us here last night even. See, see? The natural mind tries to figure out, "Well, what did he do?" or "What kind of a hoax is he using? What gimmick has he got?"

Discerning body of Lord - 59-0812 16. Jesus said once, "That except a man be borned again, he cannot See the Kingdom of God," or understand. And in other words, you can't discern the Kingdom of God until you are borned again.

Jesus Christ the same - 58-0312 4. We preach the Gospel; we believe first that a man must be borned again. He must be borned again. And then, well, if he's not borned again, then he cannot understand the Kingdom of God. Jesus told Nicodemus that. "Except a man be borned again, he cannot See the Kingdom." The word "See" there, is the English translation which really means, "cannot understand," the Kingdom of God, until he's borned again.

Perseverant - 62-0719E  31. Everything the Christian can depend on is the unseen, the promise of God. And we look at something that we don't See with our eyes. By the way, if you See it with your eyes, you don't See it. "See it" means "to understand it." You look at anything right straight and say, "I don't See it," you mean you don't understand it. When you understand... Something that's got a understanding that God has made His promise, and something has struck you that you believe it, that's understanding that God's promise is to you. Then something's going to happen. Then I don't care, nobody in the world can talk you out of it. You're on your road then. Nothing's going to stop you.

So here we see that when something strikes inside of you, in your heart,  and you understand it, then you believe it if for you.

From his sermon Hear recognize act on word - 60-0221 19 brother Branham said, "First, faith cometh by hearing, hearing of the Word of God. Then the believer hears It, recognizes It, and acts on It. The carnal man will hear It, the sound of It, but never... "Hear" means to "understand" It. Look at, is looking at something; but to See it, is to "understand" it. "Except a man be borned again, he cannot See or understand the Kingdom of God.

And from his sermon Faith - 57-1229 he said, "And usually people who have faith are people who have experience. Experience brings faith. I think that's the reason that the Bible teaches us, Jesus said in Saint John the 3rd , "Except a man be borned again he cannot understand the Kingdom of God." Now, that's quoting from the original. In the King James it said, "He cannot See." But the word doesn't mean "See, like you look with your eyes"; it means to understand. You can't See the Kingdom anyhow. You must understand it. And Jesus said, "Except a man be borned again first, he will--cannot understand the Kingdom of God." So it behooves us to have an experience before faith can ever accomplish very much.

Seeing God - 62-0609M  17. How blind a person must be that can't See life. And think that many people doesn't See life. Now, we might See it, but the word "See" doesn't mean to look at; the word "See" means "to understand it." Now, Jesus said to Nicodemus, "Except a man be borned again, he cannot See the Kingdom." Now, in otherwise, you be looking at something and you say, "I don't See it"; you mean you don't understand it. "To See,' what we call See, that's "to look at." But "to See" in Bible terminology is "to understand what we're looking at, to be revealed." And we assemble together like this that Christ might be revealed among us. That's what the conventions are held for. And such a great thing as life...

Questions and answers COD - 61-1015M  118. We look at things that we don't See. Now, many of you was prayed for, and (See?), as we just refuse any symptoms of any thing contrary to that... See? Anything that God has promised... See, the Christian does not look... You do not See with your eyes anyhow. You know that. You do not See with your eyes. You See with your heart. See? "Seeing" means, "to understand." You understand with your heart; therefore, we look at things that our eyes does not See. See?

Abraham's covenant confirmed - 61-0318 49. As I said the other night, in the garden of Eden the devil chose a part of a man, and God chose a part. God chose his heart. The devil chose his intellect. And now today, the church today, depends everything upon the intellect, and never thinking of the heart. See? And the only thing they can See..." Well, I just can't See it that way." You don't See with your eyes anyhow. You look with your eyes: you See with your heart. You look at anything, "I just don't See it." You... You're looking at it, but you don't See it, it means you don't understand it. Your understanding comes from your heart. Now, here he is now. He doesn't... he doesn't understand it with his mind. How is he going to do it? His intellects would tell him that. That's his reasoning. But the Bible said, "We cast down reasoning." Cast them away from us. Say, "How am I going to get well when the doctor says, 'Now, I've done this... '?" That don't have one thing to do with it.

Mark of the beast - 61-0217  73. But if you hear the trumpet... See, hearing, faith cometh by what? Hearing. Now, not just listen with your ear, but if you hear that means you understand it, you accept it. "I hear you; I believe it." See? It's hearing. Stephen said, "You stiff-necked, uncircumcised in the heart and ears..." See, uncircumcised... They could hear it with the ears but uncircumcised, they couldn't believe it. See? Uncircumcised in the heart and ears, understand it.

Questions and answers COD - 59-1223 60. Now, in there that subconscious (See?), that's where your mind... Now, Jesus said, "Except a man be borned again..." (Now, that's not what I wanted.) "Verily, verily, I say unto you, except a man be borned again he cannot See the Kingdom of God." Now, you couldn't See the Kingdom of God, because the Kingdom of God is the Holy Spirit. "Some standing here will not taste of death till they See the Kingdom coming in power," He said. Then, "The Kingdom of God," the Bible said, "is within you." It's within you, the Holy Spirit, and you can't See that with your eyes. So "See" means "to understand."Have you ever looked at anything, looking right at it, say, "Well, I just don't See it." See? "I just don't See it." You mean you don't understand it. See, See? You don't understand it. To See is "to understand." But with your eyes you look at anything. But with what's inside of you, you understand with, you See with that. See? With the eyes of God you look...

QA on the Holy Ghost COD - 59-1219 The word "See." "See" means "to understand," in English.

What Holy Ghost was given for - 59-1217 If You love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with You for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not,... (Now, you that would be reading from a Greek Bible would see it in here... Not... "See" there means "to understand." "For the world understandeth Him not." that is so true. Let me read it again now.) Even the Spirit of--who the--truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him... (Who? The Comforter.);... for he dwelleth with you,... (Now, present tense.)... he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. (What is it? The same Comforter.) I will not leave you comfortless: I... (Anyone knows that "I" is a personal pronoun.)... I will come to you. Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye shall--but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. At that day you shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. There's going to be the center of my thought, but we're going to read a little farther. Let me read that also now, again. At that day... (the great day, the judgment day)... that day ye shall know that I am in the Father, and ye in me, and I in you. He that has my commandment, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

It shall be even as it was told me - 50-0818 23. No matter what it looks like here... We don't look at what we See; we look at what we do not See. Is that right? Anyhow, "to See" doesn't mean "to look at." The word "See" means "to understand." Jesus said, "Except a man be borned of water and Spirit, he cannot See the Kingdom of God." In other words, he can't understand the Kingdom of God until he's borned again. See? You have to accept it by faith. And then when He comes into you, you understand it. You accept healing the same way. Stay right with it. Not what you look at, what you believe, what you understand to be the truth, what you're looking at, the unseen, then stay with that.

Jehovah Jireh - 55-0817 Jesus said to Nicodemus, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a man be borned again he cannot See the Kingdom of God." It doesn't mean "look at," it means "understand." See? And when we can understand, God's attitude towards us then God's compelled then, to give the blessings that He promised through His redemptive Name.

Expectation - 55-1001 24. Now, God is not known by intellectual faith. God is known by the experience of new birth, only alone. Jesus said, "Except a man be born again of the Spirit of God, he cannot even See the Kingdom of God." Now, any Bible scholar here knows that the word "See" there does not mean "look with your eye." It means "understand."You--you say, " Looking at something or other, say, "I just don't See it." You mean; you don't understand it; you're looking right at it. You look with your eyes, but understand with your heart. That's right. You can't understand it. And no man can know nothing of God, until first you're borned of the Spirit of God. The Bible said, "No man can call Jesus, Christ." Only by the Holy Spirit is the only thing that... You can say, "Well, I believe He's the Son of God." If you haven't been born again, you're taking somebody's word for it. You say, "The Bible said so." That's right; the Bible's right, but what about you? You say, "The preacher said so." The preacher's right, but what about you? "Mother said so." Mother's right, but what about you? It's a personal experience of your own that you've got to be borned again or you'll never understand God.  25. And then He will reveal Himself to you just as He knows you have need of. Now, there's two things in you that draws the opinion. First there's an intellectual part, which is your mental part. And the next is your soul. You have a soul and a mind.

What shall I do with Jesus - 63-1124M 151. And now, as you have our heads bowed... "Faith, by faith, and God, You help me to be honest. But knowing that You promised, 'that he that will come to Me I will in no wise turn him out, and I'll give him Eternal Life and I'll raise him up at the last days. He that will confess Me before man, him will I confess before My Father and the holy Angels. He that heareth..." The real true interpretation of St. John 5:24, there is, "He that understandeth, that receiveth My Word. He that receiveth My Word and believeth on Him that sent Me, has Everlasting Life, and will not be called to the judgment."You won't come to the judgment bar like Oswald will; but you've passed with a free pardon from death unto Life. "Lord, I don't know how; I don't know why, but I believe it's happened. I believe that in my heart, my unbelief is gone. I can freely say, 'Amen,' to every Word that You say. And I accept It right now. I have believe it."

Voice of the sign - 64-0321E 98 Look, "He that heareth My Words and believeth on Him that sent Me has Eternal Life, and shall not come to the judgment, but's passed from death unto Life." Somebody rub that out if you can. Jesus Christ said that. "He that believeth (that's understandeth.) My Word, and believeth on Him that sent Me has Eternal Life, shall never come into the judgment (condemnation), but's passed from death to Life," because he's believed on the only begotten Son of God, that God has raised up two thousand years ago and is alive here tonight, showing His attribute of His resurrection.

Seed not heir with shuck - 65-0218 30. There... See, here is no... There is no judgment to the royal, spiritual, predestinated Seed of Abraham, for they are predestinated to Eternal Life. They have accepted God's provided Sacrifice, and that Sacrifice which is Christ, the Word. "And there is therefore now no condemnation (St. John 5:24, if you want the Scripture)... There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1)... walk not after the flesh, but the Spirit." And Romans 5:24, "He that heareth My Word (the word there is 'understandeth.' Any drunkard anything else can hear it and walk away.)... But he that heareth My Word (understands My Word) and believeth on Him that sent Me hath Everlasting Life and shall not come into the judgment, but's passed from death unto Life." Yes, sir. He that this great mystery of the God made known, understand, how that God was in Christ reconciling Himself to the world, how that He and the Father were One, how that the great mysteries of the fulfilling of God taking and bringing Hisself, manifested in the age of human beings, and in the strain of human beings, and in the company of human beings, to make His Word manifested in the day in the eastern rising of the sun and to do the same thing as the sun sets in the west, to make Hisself manifested in a Bride church, the Word made manifest. See? It will to... "He that understandeth (that is, to know), that's been revealed to him of Him that sent Me, has Everlasting Life and will not come into the judgment, but's passed from death unto Life."

Easter seal - 65-0410 45. Now, the little eagle probably in the barnyard was eating all right, but he--he knowed it wasn't just exactly right. But then when he heard the truth, then he received this truth. Now, in John 5:24 Jesus said, speaking this way, "He that heareth My Words and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath Everlasting Life and shall not come into the judgment, but's passed from death unto Life." Just think how simple that is. "He that believeth..." Now, the correct way of saying that, "He that understandeth..."  46. Now, you go out here on the street and say to this prostitute, "You believe?""Sure." "You believe that He's the Son of God?" "Certainly." "Been baptized?" "Sure." Go down to the drunkard and say, "You hear that, hear that preacher preach?" "Yeah." "You believe that?" "Sure."  47. See, but he that understandeth, he that knoweth his place in this hour... "He that heareth My Word and believeth on Him that sent Me hath (present tense) Eternal Life, shall not come into the judgment, but's already passed from death unto Life."Then when this new Eternal Life dwells in you, it is the potential or the earnest of you being quickened from mortal to immortality. Let me say that again. When this Spirit has found you, the individual, and has come upon you, it is the potential of your eternal inheritance that God thought of you and made for you before the foundation of the world. That is your potential.

Rising of the sun - 65-0418M 64. Now, look. I go down the street and just take that literally and what it is, without the spiritual understanding (not making it say nothing else, but just saying what it says). See? The right word there in the Greek, in the original, it says, "He that understandeth My Word..." Now, to prove that's right, I go down here, and here's a drunk coming along this street and with some other man's wife on his arms, and cussing and taking God's Name in vain, and everything else like that. "Say, did you hear what that preacher said? Did you...""Yeah, I heard it." that don't mean He's got Eternal Life. See, see? "He that understandeth My Word," he that is an eagle.

Seed shall not be heir - 65-0429B 25. Now, if you'll take Saint John 5:24, listen to this, "He that heareth My Word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, has Everlasting Life."Now, how would that be so much different from many of our theologies? Now, I could walk out here and say to a drunkard, "Do you believe?" "Sure." A man with another man's wife, "Do you believe?" "Sure." "Did you set in the meeting last night to hear the Word?" "Sure." "You believe It?" "Sure." He's just saying that. But the original interpretation of this Word, "he that understandeth My Word, and will believe on Him that sent Me... He that understands," that is to who It's made known to. Jesus said, "No man can come to Me except My Father has drawed him. And all that My Father hath given Me, they will come. My sheep, My doves, hear My Voice. A stranger they will not follow." And what is the Voice of God? Is the Word of God. What's any man's voice but his word? It's the Word of God; they'll hear the Word of God.

Satan's Eden - 65-0829 52. When by scientific knowledge, you can make a understanding gospel of... "He that believeth on Jesus Christ shall not be condemned (See?), but these signs shall follow them that believe." See, he fails to put that in there. See? She believed on Jesus Christ. She's saved, if these signs follow the believer. "And he that heareth My Word," not just make something, not hear It with his ears, but understand it... Anybody can hear it. A prostitute can hear It and remain a prostitute. See? A drunkard can hear It. A liar can hear It, and still remain a liar, but, "He that understandeth My Word, and believeth on Him that sent Me has Everlasting Life." There you are. See? And no man can do that except God foreordained him. Jesus said, "No man can come to Me, except my Father draws him, and all the Father's given to Me will come to Me." Amen. It's all the sovereignty and foreknowledge of God. He lives alone, and there's nobody tells Him what to do.

Patriarch Abraham the - 64-0207 31. He said, "If ye abide in Me and My word's in you, ask what you will and it shall be given to you." What was it? The Word, Christ, that's in your heart. "If ye abide in Me, My words abide in you, then you've conquered everything, 'cause I conquered it for you. If ye abide in Me (if you can understand Me), if you can abide in Me, he that believeth Me, that receiveth Me (not just make-belief, but can receive), he that heareth My Words (understandeth My Word), and believeth on Him that sent Me has Everlasting Life and shall not come into temptation--or condemnation, but has passed from death unto Life." There He is, the mighty Conqueror.
