Unveiling of God no 78

Sovereignty - The Personality of God

February 3, 2019

Brian Kocourek, Pastor

Last Sunday I told you that I believe we are turning a corner, and today you will see what I mean. Let's bow our heads in prayer.

Who is This Melchisedec  65-0221 pp. 34 "Now, we find in the Scripture that many people teaches that three personalities in the Godhead. So you cannot have a personality without being a person. It takes a person to make a personality.

Now, I would like to stop right here and comment on what brother Branham just said. He said So you cannot have a personality without being a person. It takes a person to make a personality.

Now, Br. Branham absolutely nailed down the fact that you cannot have a personality without having a person. And the dictionary defines the word personality as: a person as an embodiment of a collection of qualities:

In Psychology a personality is defined as the sum total of the physical, mental, emotional and social characteristics of an individual.

It is the organized pattern of behavioral characteristics of the individual.

It is the quality of being a person; existence as a self conscious human being;

It is the personal identity.

It is the essential character of a person.

Therefore it is the visible aspect of one's character as it impresses others:

Then Br. Branham goes on to say, A Baptist minister a few weeks ago come up to my house and said, "I'd like to straighten you out on the Godhead sometime when you got time," called me up rather. I said, "I got time right now, 'cause I want to be straight, and we lay aside everything else to do it." And he come up; he said, "Brother Branham, you teach that there is just one God." I said, "Yes, sir." He said, "Well," he said, "I believe there's one God, but one God in three persons." I said, "Sir, repeat that again." He said, "One God in three persons." I said, "Where did you go to school at?" See? And he told me a Bible college. I said, "I could believe that. You cannot be a person without being a personality, and if you're a personality, you are one personality to yourself. You're a separate individual being." And he said, "Well, the theologians can't even explain that." I said, "It's by revelation." And he said, "I can't accept revelation." I said, "Then there's no way for God to ever get to you, because it's hid from the eyes of the wise and prudent and revealed to babes (revealed, revelation) revealed to babes such as will accept it, learn." And I said, "There'd be no way for God to get to you; you close yourself off from Him. The whole Bible is the revelation of God. The whole church is built upon the revelation of God. There's no other way to know God only by revelation: 'To whom the Son will reveal Him,' revelation. Everything is revelation. So to not to accept the revelation, then you're just a cold theologian, and there's no hope for you."

Let's stop here because there are several statements that Brother Branham made that need to be cleared up or we could become confused at this point. Number 1) he said, You cannot be a person without being a personality, and if you're a personality, you are one personality to yourself. You're a separate individual being.

Now Brother Branham is making the case that God could not be three; separate, individual persons, without having three different personalities. If God were three persons as they believe, then each person in the Godhead would have to have a separate personality, if he were a separate being, or person.

I hope you can see his argument.

Now, the Trinitarian theologians would have you to believe God is a committee of three. That the three work together in a unity to make up something called the Godhead.

But this understanding or lack of it comes from a shear lack of revelation concerning the Word of God and that will be our second point that we will get to in a few minutes.

Now, remember we are studying the sovereignty of God. God is sovereign, then his nature is sovereign, and solitary, it does not change even thought he may change vessels. But when God inhabits a person, a vessel, his nature does not change with the vessel, nor does His personality. That is why when a man is so full of God's Spirit He acts like God, He speaks like God, and he does the works of God.

Otherwise we would have to say the vessel is sovereign and when God's Holy Spirit enters the vessel it would have to change to reflect the vessel entered, which is totally insane to think an unchanging God would change his nature and personality with each vessel He enters.

Therefore let's first look at this thought of each person having their own personality. The Word person according to Webster comes from the Latin word, persona which literally means  "an actor's face mask; hence a character, or person, an individual human being as distinguished from other forms of life".

This then leads us to look at the word personality and see how it's meaning differs from that of the word person. Webster defines the word personality: as  coming from the Latin word personalitas and speaks of the quality or fact of being a particular person.

In other words, those habitual patterns and qualities of behavior that distinguish one individual from another giving each a personal identity and individuality from all others.

Therefore we can say that the personality are those qualities, traits or attributes which give individual identity to the person.

From his sermon Ephesians Parallels Joshua  60-0515E 16 Brother Branham said,     "After Samuel had been dead for at least three to five years, and the witch of En-dor called him up, and she fell on her face, and she said, "You have deceived me, because you are Saul, yourself." She said, "Because I see gods." She was a heathen (You see?), "I see gods rising up." And Saul couldn't see him yet, and he said, "What does he look like? Describe him to me." Said, "He's thin, and he has a mantle over his shoulder." Said, "That's Samuel the prophet; bring him here before me." I want you to notice that Samuel had not lost any of his personality. He was still a prophet; he told Saul exactly what would happen the next day. So, you see, death does not completely diminish us as we weep and wail and lament at the grave. It only changes our dwelling place.

Now, the question then arises, can two persons have the same identical personality and yet be two individual persons?  The answer is no, or not entirely. They can share many of the same traits, but not all the traits. Thus, when we look at the Godhead, or Godhood of God, the thing which distinguishes God from all others, is that He is omniscient, Omnipotent and because He is omniscient, He can be omnipresent because he knows all things. No other Being, person or spirit being has these attributes.

What Distinguishes the Father from the Son is that the Son did not know all things. He said, "But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only." So that would include himself as the son of God.

From his sermon QA Hebrews Part 1  57-0925  233-145 brother Branham said, "Now, the oneness teaching of the oneness church, I certainly disagree with them, thinking that Jesus is one like your finger's one. He had to have a Father. If He didn't, how could He be His own father? And if His Father was a man like the Trinitarian says, then He was born a illegitimate birth with two fathers. So you see, you're both wrong by arguing. See? But the truth of it is, that both Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, is one Personality. God dwelling in a tabernacle of flesh to take sin from the world... That's exactly right, "God with us."

Now, remember what I said, the personality of God is sovereign and changes not. Therefore God in His Son does exactly what God as Father does. Jesus said in John 5:19 "Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever He (The Father) doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

Now, why is this? Because "sons of God are led by the Spirit of God. Romans 8:14

In John 5:30 Jesus said I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

Now, brother Branham in QA Hebrews Part 2  57-1002   281-Q-63    63. is asked to explain the trinity... "Please explain the Trinity. How can the Son set at the right hand of the Father, interceding to the Father, if they are not two persons? Well, beloved friend, that's a... That's a revelation. If Jesus said, "I and My Father are One," then how can they be two? See? Now, they're not two. A woman once said to me, and I was explaining that, said, "You and your wife are two, yet you're one." I said, "But God and the Son is different from that. See?" I said, You see me?" "Yes." "Do you see my wife?" "No." I said, "Then Father and Son's different; Jesus said, 'When you see Me, you've seen the Father.'" See? The Father and the Son... The Father was Almighty Jehovah God dwelling in a Tabernacle called Jesus Christ, which was the anointed Son of God. Jesus was a Man; God is a Spirit. And no man has seen God at any time, but the only begotten of the Father has declared Him. He was... He... His Personality, His Being, His Deity, whatever He was, He was God. He was nothing less or nothing more than God. Yet, He was a man. He was a man, a house that God dwelt in. That's right. He was God's dwelling place.

Now, I know from experience, having talked to many, many ministers around the world that they really get hung up with brother Branham's language here.

But as I have been speaking in this series on Sovereignty, that not only is God sovereign and solitary but His nature, HIS character is sovereign as well, and he is the unchanging God. And if He is the unchanging God then no matter what vessel God chooses to work through, His personality never changes. It is the vessel that must adapt to God's nature not the other way around.

From his sermon Sirs We Would See Jesus 57-1211 E-21 Brother Branham said,   "Now, Jesus was born for one purpose, that was for God to manifest Himself through that body. God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself. He was a body that was made physical, that men and women could see what He thought, and His expressions to the people in His gratefulness. And His attitude towards all mankind, He (He's talking about God here) expressed it through Christ. (God used the vessel of His first born so to express Himself to humanity. Then brother Branham says,) Christ seemed to be a dual personality. He would speak sometimes and they'd scratch their heads; and they didn't understand Him. He'd speak one thing one time, look like, and something else another time. What it was, was Jesus speaking, and then Christ speaking. Jesus was the man. (The vessel) Christ was the God that was in Him. (Christ which means anointing, or anointer was the God that was in the vessel working through that vessel)."Not Me that doeth the works: My Father that dwelleth in Me, He doeth the work." See? God will not share His glory with no one.

From His sermon Balm In Gilead  61-0218 80 brother Branham said, "You know, Jesus right at the end of His ministry, His disciples couldn't understand Him. No one understood Him. How many know that they couldn't understand Him? Sure. Why? They thought He had a dual personality. No. Sometime it was Jesus talking, sometime it was the Father in Him talking. See, see? That was it, the man... So Jesus said like... They said, "Now, we believe. Now, we believe that You know all things and no man needs to teach You. We..." Jesus said, "Do you now believe?" See?

And again in his sermon Patmos Vision 60-1204E 66 brother Branham said, "The revelation showed that He is not three gods, neither is He chopped up in three pieces. But He's one God that was God in the days of the Fatherhood; He was God in the days of the Sonship; He's God in the days of the dispensation of the Holy Spirit, the same God, not three different ones, not three persons, not three personalities. He's one Person, one Personality. You cannot be a personality without being a person. Some people said, "He's not three persons, but He's three personalities." You cannot divide that; 'cause if He's a personality, He's a person; has to be a person to make a personality.  So He is one Person, one Personality: the same yesterday, today, and forever; Alpha, Omega; He that was, which is, and shall come. Oh, He's just all. I love that. 67 Watch His nature, His Life, His works. It should be manifested right here in this tabernacle, just like it was in His day (not saying this prejudice, God knows that), not only here, but across the world. I'm glad that it is. Then we know where we are standing, because we have that same Spirit in us, moving with us and showing that He's here. It's not us; (as brother Vayle always said, get your eyes off the vessel, and get them on the God who is using the vessel.) It's not us; it's Him; we can't do those things; it's God. Besides that, in the scientific world He permitted His picture to be taken. With us, in us, around us, over us, through us, working in and out of us, oh, how wonderful.

You see how we are beginning to understand how that the same Holy Spirit of God changes not from vessel to vessel. His personality is the same and he does the same, acts the same, speaks the same, and does the same works.

That is why Jesus could say, "If you are a true believer, which is one who is filled with the same Holy Spirit as He was, then you will do the same works that He did". That's what he said in John 14:12, same Spirit same Works, same Word Same Works. "The Works that I do you shall do also."

That is why we can know that many of the Message churches are not teaching the same Word, because the same works are not following because the same Word will produce the same works.

From his sermon God identifying Himself 64-0320 P:34 brother Branham said, "See, there's no mistake about it. His life... "He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also." See, that identifies the characteristics, same thing He said. "If My character doesn't identify Myself, God in Him," then don't believe Him. Now, He also said that He would be identified in that. Then that, if it doesn't identify Him, then He isn't what He says. And today if Christ doesn't identify Hisself, the characteristic of Christ identify us as being of Christ, believing the Word... Jesus was the Word, so He had to believe the Word. And how can we say that we are of Christ and deny any Word in that Bible? The Holy Spirit of Christ is God in you. And it'll punctuate every promise with a "Amen."The Bible said, "These signs shall follow them that believe."The Spirit of God said, "Amen." See? One of them don't, said, "No, that was for another age. That was for disciples only.""Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature. He (anywhere, all the world) that believeth, these signs shall follow him," same thing, same yesterday, today, and forever, the characteristic being identified. That makes Hebrews 1:1, "God of sundry times, speaking to the fathers by the prophets," identifying Christ resurrected today by the same characteristic that He did in sundry times.

Again from his sermon Take on the whole armor of God 62-0701 P:82 Brother Branham said, "John 14:12, Jesus said, "He that believeth in Me, the works that I do shall he do also." What is it? It's God in the church in these five predestinated offices, backing up every Word that He said with the Holy Spirit Himself in there, which is the Word made manifest, proving His resurrection, proving that He lives. All other religions are dead. Their forms are dead. There's only one that's right, and that's Christianity, because Christ is a living in the church of Christ (Amen.), making His word manifest, for He is the same. If it's the same Word, It'll do the same thing, and show the same works, and the same signs.

Now, what did he just say? If it's the same Word, It'll do the same thing, and show the same works, and the same signs.

Ok, then, how many believe that God appeared to William Branham in three rainbows confirming to him that what He had taught for the past 30 years was the truth? Isn't that what the Holy Spirit told him? Then if God changes not, won't he do the same if others preach the same Word? After all, he said the same word will produce the same works. The same Spirit in you will produce the same works, and the same signs.

Message of grace 61-0827 P:14 And I looked again, and there it was, growing taller and taller, three rainbows. I took off my hat. I set down my gun. I started walking towards it with my hands up. Something just seemed to tell me, "This is close enough." I was going to set down and take off my boots that I had on, to see if I could walk a little closer. But I got within a few yards of it, and I seen the color of it, misting like a fog moving around. I stood still for a few moments. It was coming right out of the top of the little mountain. And I watched, as the three (one to the right, one to the left, and one in the center) running down into one bowl like... Ever what it was, was alive. It was moving and making Its motions. And I stood there just as it was graying dawn. I turned and looked again, and I screamed out, "O God, what would You have Your servant know?"Just then the Spirit of the Lord came in and said, "Jesus of the New Testament is Jehovah of the Old, He only changed His mask from Spirit to man." That was confirming, of course, my message of Him, letting me know, assured that these thirty-one years hasn't been in vain.

Well if God changes not, then God is obligated to do the same with other sons who are teaching the exact same Word. He said it, not me. He said, If it's the same Word, It'll do the same thing, and show the same works, and the same signs.

Why do you think God did the same thing over there in Mbanza Ngungu? Because the same Word will produce the same works, the same signs. Jesus Christ is the same Yesterday today and forever? yet the people are so afraid of their own shadows that they are afraid if they testify what God did in their ministry someone will think you have wrong intensions. I don't care what other people think, I happen to believe Hebrews 13:8 is real and therefore the same things should be happening in your life if you have the same God living in you.

When those three rainbows appeared over the church I was preaching, I put the picture on my website and I had a pastor friend of mine email me and said take it down. What right do you have to put that picture up there?  What are you trying to make yourself? I just replied, "My brother, I wasn't the one that appeared over the church, I was standing their preaching when He appeared. It not what I know, but it's what I surrendered myself to. It's not about me, it's about Him and what He did." And then the brother caught it, because I gave him exactly what brother Branham had said about the angel of the lord appearing down at the river while he was baptizing.

Listen, right after Jesus spoke in John 14:12 that if you have the same Spirit that He has you will do the same works, then he says in John 14:19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: (Ok, so how do we see him when the world cannot see him? He goes on to answer how we will see him...) because I live, ye shall live also. 20  At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. 21  He that hath (he that echoes) my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. 22  Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? 23  Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Oh, I hope you're getting what he said here. How is it that the world won't see you, but the real Spirit filled believer will see you? Jesus tells us, Because I live you shall live also. You will see me because I'll make my abode with you, I will come in and dwell in you. And the life you see living itself out from your own vessel is no longer your life but it is mine that will be living itself out in you. For "you have crucified yourself, yet you are living, yet it is not you that is living but Christ is living in you. And the life you will be living in the flesh will be Christ's Life living in you and doing the same works He did."

And that is how you will know that the same Life is living itself out in you, because the same Word will produce the same works, and the same signs. Same Word will produce the same Works.

Same Spirit will produce the same works, it has to or it isn't His Spirit living in you. Now, at this point I want to go back to Brother Branham's sermon The Spoken Word Original Seed 62-0318M 87 because it was back here in august of 2009 when my eyes got wide open concerning the significance of John 14:12 in our stature and state, and our being conformed to the image of the first born son. And you will see how this all ties into what we are studying today concerning the personality of God and how He changes not, therefore His personality changes not no matter what vessel or mask God chooses to put on.

Malachi 3:6 tells us "I am God and I changes not". Therefore the masks may change but the Spirit of God, His nature, His character, which is His personality cannot change no matter what vessel He chooses to inhabit including that of everyone of His children.

And let's face it, your children when they are born into this world "They are all born in sin, shaped in iniquity and come forth to the world speaking lies."

Brother Branham makes this clear in his sermon Identification 64-0216 P:35 Look, to show it's the ones that He thought of, His thoughts is the Christian of today, the thoughts before the foundation of the world. Now, remember, man, when he was borned in sin, shaped in iniquity, comes to the world speaking lies. Is that right? There's nothing in him at all. So you see, if he was in God's thoughts when he come to the world, he's come in God's thoughts at the beginning to display His attribute. You follow me? Then Jesus came to break the clouds back so that attribute could display itself. He is God's expressed Word. Now, nothing else could be manifested. Other characters had all fallen. Then you see, what did Jesus come to bring back those characters? No. No, they were borned in sin, shaped in iniquity. He came as a Redeemer. And to "redeem" anything, is "to bring it back (Amen.), bring it back." It was God's thoughts. You... Think, little you, little me, no one in the world could take my place. Nobody can take yours. You, being a Christian and filled with the Spirit, God, in before the foundation of the world, seen you, and knowed every feature that you got. See? And Jesus come to bring you back. That's what Jesus was here for, the Redeemer, the human body: to bring you back. That had to come to be a human as a Redeemer to display His attributes as Saviour, come to redeem you and bring you back from where you come from.

Therefore it is your duty and responsibility as a parent to shape the little minds, and hearts of your children by fashioning their little personality to be honest, and ethical, and forthright, yet loving and giving and full of mercy, and lovers of God and lovers of His Word etc.

Well, that is the same duties the Holy Spirit has when he comes into you because that is the end product God saw in you before the foundations of the world when he formed that gene seed that was to come into you at this end time.

Now, if you leave your little child on its own it will begin to mimic what it sees. So if you choose the television or computers to baby set your children, you will get a little renegade growing up in your house. And when they get old that is the way they will not depart from. But if you raise them up to reverence the things of God, and to respect the atmosphere of God's presence in his house of worship, they will grow up that way.

So let's go to The Spoken Word is the Original Seed and you will see that is exactly what brother Branham is telling us here. PP 87 "All right. All right, we notice then. See, the spoken Word... Then we are God's Word made manifest. That's how God wants His church: is to manifest Himself. How can He manifest Himself unless His Own Seed is in that person? How can you use your own thoughts and God manifest Himself through you? How can you take your own belief and say, "Well, my pastor teaches... My creed says that this... days of miracles..." How you going to do that and then be a manifested son of God? How you going to do it? The death of Jesus wasn't nothing to you. "Oh, I accept Him as my Saviour." You don't. You say you do, but you don't. Your works proves what you are. Jesus said the same thing. "If you think I am illegitimately born..."They said, "We're Abraham's son and need nobody to teach us." Said, "If you was Abraham's children, you'd know Me." See? Said, "Which one of you condemns Me of sin (unbelief)? Show Me one thing that God promised of Me that ain't fulfilled. Show Me one thing that the Father promised that I haven't fulfilled. (Sin is unbelief.) Let's see you produce it then." That de-horned them. See? Certainly. Said, "Who's accusing Me? Who can condemn Me with sin (unbelief)?" See? "If I don't believe, then why is the Father doing through Me like He's doing, every Word that He promised? Now, let Me see where you got it in yours."

Notice this is the same argument that the anti five folders use as their argument. We don't need anyone to teach us, we can go and get it for ourselves. But they can't, because God did not ordain it that way. He said the five-fold ministry is for the perfection, the capping off, the equipping of the saints for the purpose of Growing up into Him in all things.  And God set them in the church so who are you to take them out. But the same religious Spirit in Jesus day does the same thing today. Spirits don't change they just go from one vessel to another but their same unbelieving nature remains the same.

He continues, 88 Who is illegitimate born then? They were. Illegitimate children professing to be God's... Jesus said, "You are of your father, the devil, and his works you do." What kind of works did the devil do? try to hybreed the Word of God through Eve. That's exactly the same thing that these big denominations do today. The works of the devil, their father, they do. They're trying to take a creed and breed it with the Word of God. That's what Satan done in the beginning, the father, the devil. God bless you, brethren. Come out of it. Jesus said so. You've got one little scratch of God in you, you ought to look and see that. Hybrid. Oh, my.

Now, here is where my eyes were opened in this next paragraph 89 The works that Jesus did, if a man has the Seed of God in him with the Spirit of God watering that Seed, the same works that Jesus, was manifested in Jesus, Him being the original Seed of God, His death brings you back to the original Seed of God, and if the same Spirit that was within Him is in you, then the same works will be manifested. You don't believe that? All right, let's turn over to Saint John 14:12. You say, "I'm a believer, Brother Branham. I sure am a believer." All right, I'm going to see if Jesus would call you one, see if the Word of God calls you one... Verily, verily,... (absolutely, absolutely)... I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go to the Father.

Notice br. Branham ties John 14:12 with whether you are a believer or not, because if you are a believer you are filled with the Holy Spirit of God, and then God proves He is living your life by doing the very same works that He did in Jesus. Because remember, "It is God working in you both to will and to do His Good pleasure."  And if God is not in you willing then He is not in you doing either. But brother Branham ties John 14:12 as the same God who worked in Jesus will also work in you, because it is the same Spirit who is doing.

God will do in you because it isn't you doing it anyway no more than it was Jesus that healed the sick and raised the dead. And so the next paragraph brother Branham nails this thought down when he says, 90 What is it? Same seed. Can't keep, How can you plant wheat here and wheat here and say, "I'm going to get cucumbers here and wheat here?" You can't do it. The only way you're going to get cucumbers is plant cucumbers. If you hybreed it, then it won't be a cucumber. It'll be a hypocrite. Is that right? It'll be a hypocrite, friends. This... You've got to say it. It isn't neither one. Isn't cucumber or what you bred it with. It's a crossbreed, and it is a bad product, and it's dead in itself, and it can't breed itself back no more. It's dead right there, back, won't go no farther. That finishes it; that's all. But if you want a cucumber, start with a cucumber. If you want a church, start with the Word of God. If you want a Life of God, start with the Word of God. Accept the Word of God in Its fullness, every measure of It. And then that's... And if that is the fullness of God in you, then the rain that's falling will produce exactly what's in your garden. See? Then now, where's your Latter Rain coming up at? You see where that's going after while, don't you? Going over with them wild gourds that Elijah got and thought they were gourds or them school of prophets up there, that denomination they had: gathered some wild gourds and thought they were, they were peas. Oh, well.

So you can see the theme of His sermon coming out in these last few paragraphs and the next ones as well.

91 Then the works will be manifested in Him are the same, for it is the same Seed Word of God. God's Son was His Example Seed. And what His Life was when the Spirit poured upon Him after His baptism and the Holy Ghost come upon Him, the very Life that He produced will, that same watering Spirit of the Holy Ghost will bring forth the same kind of a Life, doing the same thing that He did; if it's the same Seed. Son of God Seed will bring forth a Son of God Seed. Now, shame on you women with bobbed hair. Shame on you preachers denying that Truth. Say, "It's all right; hair has nothing to do with it." But God said it did.

Notice, same seed will produce same works. Why because every seed must bring forth after its own kind or nature.

92 See where it's at? See? That's why I believe the Word. It's a Seed. And if the rain falls upon the Seed, it'll bring forth of its kind. (and of course He is quoting from Genesis 1:11 the law of life) Now, what's the matter with these revivals? What do we do? Make a million more in '44: Baptists, Presbyterians, and whatever more, Pentecostals. But where is that manifestation of the works of Jesus Christ. "I do nothing till first the Father shows Me." Where is that kind of a Seed coming from? The Holy Spirit will water and bring forth that Seed. It's the Water to the Seed. If the Seed's been planted, that's exactly what the Water's for. If the Water falls on you, you say, "Bless God, let me tell you something, preacher. I'm So-and-so, and I don't believe in that stuff." You're the denominational. You're just an old hypocrite to start with. That's what kind of seed was planted.

93 Don't misunderstand me. I love you, honey. I'm trying to get this to you. See? I will... I'll stop at it when I finish today. I'll let it go, but I want you to know one time what's right and the reason I believe what I believe. I believe the devil's deceived you. Frankly, I know he has. According to God's Word, It can't fail. He's deceived you. Yes, sir. That's why I preach those things the way I do: because God's Word said it." Oh," say, "Well, Brother Branham, this is a different day." It's the same Word though. They got some wheat out of the garner from back there that was in the time of Joseph's and put it and planted it here a couple years ago (Did you see that in the magazine?), and it produced a crop of wheat. It was still wheat; that's the reason. The only thing it needed was just some water.

94 God's Word's just the same as It was when He spoke It back yonder thousands of years ago. The only thing it needs is water. Why don't we get a crop? Because we got the wrong kind of seed in." How many you all would like to change your letter?" Twofold child more of hell than you was when you started. "How many of you Methodists would like to become Baptists? You Baptists like to come Pentecostals? Just bring your membership over here." Oh, for goodness sake. Tommyrot, trash, trash of the Devil, there's no Life in it at all. It's hybrid, hypocritical, dead, twice dead, plucked up by the roots. Didn't Jesus say, "Every plant that My heavenly Father hasn't planted will be rooted up?" Denomination or whatever it is, it'll be rooted up. God's Word alone will stand. Right. That's what He said. "Every man's word is a lie, but Mine's the Truth."

95 Then where are we going to go? You better come back to your senses. But you can't hear it unless you're predestinated to hear it. We're getting into that. No wonder it falls like water on a duck's back. He's made to shed the water, not absorb it. The ark was made out of gopher wood and shittim wood. It's the most, it's nothing but just hollow; nothing in it but hollow. Everything's taken out of it. It's growed that way, the lightest wood there is, lighter than balsam. Why did they do it? So he could soak it with pitch. If it been oak... You say, "Wouldn't oak do just as good?" No, sir, it won't soak up nothing; it turns it away. It's repellent, and this is an absorbent. And a real Seed of God is an absorbent for the Spirit. All denominationalism's took out; all unbelief is out. And when the Holy Spirit comes into that germ of Life that's laying there, It produces another Seed, just exactly. Another son of God is born (Amen.), another amateur god, son of God.

96 I'm a Branham because I was born of Charlie and Ella Branham. That makes me a Branham because I'm their seed. Their two agreements with their sperm together made a seed, and that made me. When God and His Word becomes one (Hallelujah.) that's when God's Spirit waters the Seed of God, the Word of God, It produces God; and it's not the individual; it's God. For what? you are dead; you're not yourself no more. You reckon yourself dead, hollowed out, waiting for the Seed germ. Then what is it? It isn't you no more; isn't the man; it's God in the man. It's a Seed germ like the beginning spoken Word. God's Word made manifest in the man; then it isn't the man; it's the man that's died. He can't be a hybrid and a son at the same time. He's either a son of death or a son of Life. So if he's a son of death, give it over to the devil and let him kill it. Give over to God a minute and let Him kill the devil that's in you, run him out: hollows you out. Then let God plant His Own Life in you, then it's not you no more; it's God's Life, because it's God's Word, watered by the Holy Spirit will produce the same thing. You see it? I'd just love to preach on that a few minutes, but with thirty or forty pages of Scripture here... And I've only got three so far.

97 All right. Manifested, the works manifested the same by us, for It is the same Word. Now, if you want to do the works of Christ, do the same thing He done. "He that believeth on Me shall have My works." What is that? Believeth what? That He is the Original Seed germ that come. Where is the seed? Here, let me take these handkerchiefs. Here is the man that was supposed to be, right here. This is the man that was supposed to be. What happened? Eve hybrided it--breed it. What it did... Then what did it do? Turned to death, keep dying, dying. Now, this one come that out... Now, here stays the Word just the same. Here's the Word laying here just the same. Now, what happened? Here's the Word. Now, the Word that God spoke to multiply and replenish the earth, It couldn't find a place to land. Finally this Word caught into the womb of a virgin. (We'll speak of the two wombs this afternoon more...?...) And what happened? From Him came forth the germ Life, the thing that gives, the Water that gives the kernel its chance to reproduce itself. The Spirit came out of Him and went up.

P:98 Brother Branham said, "We believe It; we believe It. Now, what did Jesus say? "He that believeth on Me (See?)... He that believeth on Me, the works that I do, the manifestation that the Holy Spirit come in the form of a dove come upon Me and done this (not through hybreeding, but through virgin born...)" Not the course of life, like breeding a child, husband to wife; no, not that, not a hybreed, but a virgin born. "Now, through this, I'm giving this Life that if you by faith will accept what Father, all the prophets, all the Word of God, I will pour this Life down upon you, and you'll can't do nothing else but produce the same thing that I am." There you are.

99 "The works that I do shall he do also." And what did He do? Just as the Father led Him, what He saw. Saint John 5:19, just... "I do nothing till the Father shows Me." What was He, made Himself a man. God was made flesh and dwelled among us. The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us. God's spoken Word, through a virgin, brought forth a body, and in that body come the Water, the Spirit, and washed by the water of the Word and then went in Him, dwelt in Him, and there come the Life of God manifesting Himself through Christ. God was in Christ, the anointed One.

100 "Christ" means "the anointed One," a Man that was anointed. And God dwelling in Him, what was it? The germ with the flesh, the anointed One, flesh being anointed with the Spirit of God produced the Word of God made manifest. "And we beheld Him, the only begotten of the Father, full of grace..." See? There He was. See? He was God's Word made manifest. And now He died in order to pay the debt of your hybreeding (my, my, there it is, what is it?), that you could die to yourself until you're no more yourself and be filled with His Word, believing His Word, and then the Holy Spirit that was in Him comes down to water that Word to make It grow. See? And then what is it? God manifesting, continuing the work of His first Son, His Only Begotten (See?), that died for our hybreeding life, that He might reconcile us back to be sons and daughters of God, that through the church, might flow the same Life by the Word, continuing the Word being manifested as It was in Christ. Christ was God's Word made manifest. And He died, gave His Life, that He might send the Spirit: take His body up and send the Spirit back to water, pay the redeeming price, if we'll believe it. That's it right there--if you believe it. "He that believeth on Me, the works that I do..." Then come the Holy Spirit upon the same Word of God...

From Why cry speak 59-1004E P:31 brother Branham quotes Jesus in John 14:12 saying, "He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also." Peter said, "Jesus of Nazareth, a prophet, anointed, anointed and approved of God among you all, which you all yourself know..." The Bible said also that God anointed Jesus Christ with the Holy Ghost, that He went about doing good, healing the sick. That was the sign that He was what He claimed to be. That's the way God sends it. That's the way it's supposed to come in the last day. And the Holy Spirit that comes in the last days isn't to draw us to a creed, isn't to draw us to a church; It's to draw us to God; and supernatural signs is to follow that Holy Spirit.

From Oncoming storm 60-0229 P:31he said,  "Sometime ago, I made it, making altar calls... I love John 5:24. "He that heareth My Words, and believeth on Him that sent Me, has Eternal Life; and shall not come into judgment, but's passed from death unto Life." He that believeth...Said, "That's pretty light."No, that's pretty deep, for when you believe, no man can call Jesus the Christ, only by the Holy Spirit. When you have the Holy Spirit, then you have believed unto Eternal Life and have Eternal Life. "He that heareth My Words, and believeth on Him that sent Me, has Eternal Life, and shall not come into the judgment, but's passed from death unto Life."

And from Only one way provided by God 63-0731 P:72 brother Branham said, "A little while and the world seeth Me no more, yet ye shall see Me, because I will be with you, even in you." The Holy Spirit, Christ called It, "I." See? Christ, God the Holy Spirit in Him, was to be in His Church unto the end of the world. God's Word, "And the works that I do shall you also. A little while and the world won't see Me no more, yet you shall see Me, for I'm going to be in you. He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he also. In you, until the end of the world." God has a provided way for His believing children. Jesus Christ is that Way, the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Putting on the whole Armor of God 62-0607 P:78 Now. He said what He would do? He would come and vindicate Himself in His church, and they would vindicate His resurrection by His works. See? Yeah, John 14:12. I think that's right: yeah, John 14:12. Jesus said, "He that believeth in Me, the works that I do shall he do also."See, what is it? Now, you say, "I believe." That's just a word. But if you truly believe, that's this. If He is the Word, then you got to believe all the Word. "He that believeth all of Me (just don't believe part of it, believe all of Me), then the works that I do shall he do also," for He is still the same Word. So if it's the same Word, it would do the same works. If this Holy Spirit that's here today, if it isn't the same Word that it was in the beginning... If It is, It'll do the same works. That's the reason Jesus said, "He that believeth in Me, the works that I do shall he do also." Oh, I'd like to stay on that a little while, but getting too late. Why? The same Word, same works (See?), 'cause Jesus was God's works, we know that.

Mark of the beast 61-0217 P:17 Now, the Holy Spirit is the Seal of God. Now, if you say you believe and haven't received the Holy Ghost, then God's never recognized your faith yet. That's right. Because the Seal is the recognition that God has completed and finished His work in you (That's right.), that He recognized, sure. Someone said, "Why do you make it so loose, Brother Branham, saying, Saint John 5:24?" That's the beginning of the Spirit. That's right. I believe that a man, as soon as you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, it's a portion of the Holy Spirit. When you're sanctified, another part of the Holy Spirit cleans you. Then you're filled with the Holy Ghost. Right. Now, "But he that heareth My words, and believeth on Him that sent Me, has Eternal Life." There's only one type of it; that's God's life.

Hear ye Him 57-0125 P:54 Let's see what Jesus says, Saint John 5:24. While you're praying. Listen to His Word now, Jesus' Word. "He that heareth My word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath (present tense) Everlasting Life, and shall never come into the judgment, but has passed from death unto Life." How simple, how sweet, the Father has made it so simple for us. Not complicated, not educational programs, not creeds and catechisms to learn, but to know Him by love, the Father has made is so simple. "He that heareth My words, and believeth on Him that sent me, hath (present tense) Eternal Life (Is the Holy Spirit Eternal Life? Yes), and shall not come into judgment or condemnation; but hath (past tense) passed from death unto Life."

Now, I want to continue and look at the second thought that came forth from brother Branham's first thought.   Remember he said, you cannot be a person without being a personality, and if you're a personality, you are one personality to yourself. You're a separate individual being….And then he said,  The whole Bible is the revelation of God. The whole church is built upon the revelation of God. There's no other way to know God only by revelation: 'To whom the Son will reveal Him,'

Then brother Branham begins to show us this idea of God changing his mask. Now, remember he was talking about personality, and now he begins to show us how that the same God with the same personality moves from one vessel to another but remains the same no matter what that vessel might be.

Let's pick up at pp. 38 Now, now, we find out that this Person had no father, no mother, no beginning of days or ending of life. It was God "En morphe". Now, the world--the word comes--the Greek word means "change," was used, changing Himself, "En morphe", from one person to... One person... The Greek word there, "En morphe," means... It was taken from the stage act, "that one person is changing his mask to make him some other character." Like in school just recently, I believe, Rebekah, just before she graduated, they had one of Shakespeare's plays. And one young man had to change his clothes several times, because he played two or three different parts, but the same person. He'd come out; one time he was the villain. And when he come out next time, he was another character.

40 And now the Greek word "En morphe" mean that he changed His mask. And that's what God did. It's the same God all the time. God in the form of the Father, the--the Spirit, the Pillar of Fire, the same God was made flesh and dwelt among us: "En morphe," brought out so He could be seen. And now, that same God is the Holy Ghost. Father, Son, Holy, not three Gods, three offices, three acts of the one God. The Bible said there's one God, not three. But that's how that they couldn't... You can't get this straightened out and have three gods. You'd never sell a Jew that; I tell you that, one who knows better; he knows there's only one God.

42 Notice, like the sculptor, he hides with a--a mask over it. That's what God's done to this age. It's been hid. All these things has been hid, and is supposed to be revealed in this age. Now, the Bible says they would be revealed in the latter times. It's like a sculptor keeping his piece of work all covered over until the time he takes the mask off of it and there it is. And that's what the Bible has been. It has been a work of God that's been covered up. And it's been hid since the foundation of the world, and its sevenfold mystery, and God promised in this day, at the age of this Laodicea church, He would take the mask off the whole thing and we could see it. What a glorious thing, God, "En morphe", masked in a Pillar of Fire, God, "En morphe" in a Man called Jesus, God, "En morphe" in His church: God above us, God with us, God in us, the condescending of God. Up there holy, no one could touch Him; He settled upon the mountain, and even if a animal touched the mountain, had to die. And then God come down and changed His tent, and He come down and lived with us, become one of us, and we held Him. The Bible said, I Timothy 3:16, "Without controversy, great is the mystery of godliness, for God was manifested in the flesh," handled with hands. God eat meat. God drank water. God slept. God cried. He was one of us: beautiful, typed in the Bible. That was God above us, God with us; now it's God in us, the Holy Spirit, not the third person, the same Person.

44 God came down and become flesh and died the death in Christ so that He could clean the church in order to get into it for fellowship. God loves fellowship. That's what He made the man at the first time for, was for fellowship. God dwells alone with Cherubims. And notice now, He made man, and man fell. So He came down and redeemed man, because God loves to be worshipped. The very word "god" means "object of worship." And this that comes among us as a Pillar of Fire, as something that changes our hearts, that is the same God that said, "Let there be light," and there was light. He's the same yesterday, today, and forever.

So we are looking at the very same sovereign Solitary God who began it all by His spoken word, and He is the same yesterday, today and forever. He is God and He changes not.

Why I Am A Holy Roller  53-0830A  E-33 brother Branham said, "Why, I tell you, it means something when a man's really born again of the Spirit of God. He becomes acquainted, a personality of God is in him."

Marriage Of The Lamb 62-0121E   E-46 "All that God was He poured into Christ; and all that Christ was, He poured into the church to continue the work of the Gospel. Then we become, not by artificial name, but by a reality of the Holy Spirit of Life, connecting us into Christ. Then, through the power of His resurrection, we are raised from the dead things of the world and setting with Him in heavenly places. Amen. I like that. Tonight, we're setting in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (See?), resurrected with Him, died to the things of the world, and took on Christ. And when we take on Christ, then the world is dead. Then we no more care for the world. The world is dead to us, and we're... And it's dead to us, and we're dead to it. You're a different person, different personality, because you are a new creation: creation, not the same creation polished up, not a man that's turned a new leaf, but a man that's died and been borned again, and become a new creation in Christ Jesus. And the Spirit of the living God lives in the person. Now, just like the woman that's no more Broy, she's a Branham, and she goes by that name. And the church is no more of the world, but it's in the Name of Christ she is. She's connected with Him by His own Life."

Now, remember, when the bride begins to know who she is that is when we will go. And it is not knowing what you were by the natural birth he's talking about. He is talking about when you see the very life of Christ living itself out in your own life, and God confirming it with signs and wonders, vindicating that His Life has taken over your vessel, then you will see the personality of God in you just as it was in the first born son, then you will know who you really are. Then you are ready for adoption.

Way Of A True Prophet  63-0119   E-74 "Oh, others reason. But, see, Amos couldn't reason because he was a prophet. The Word come to him. No. Same as the Word today, you must interpret It, let the Holy Spirit interpret it by vindicating it in your life. That's what was said, what, you know, Jeremiah said to the prophet Hananiah. He said, "When that prophet speaks, and what he says is manifested, then the prophets knowed he was right." If Amos was here, what do you think he would do? He would stay with the Word. That's what he would do. You know what? He'd tell us that we been taught off of the foundation of the original Word of God. He'd tell us that we're far away from the first Pentecostal church. That's what he'd tell us Pentecostals. Say, "Now, they had almost fifty years to get yourself in gear, and you've never come there yet." E-75 Oh, what would he say to denominational personality? Oh, if he wouldn't give that... If he wouldn't tear up the churches for their immorals, for accepting creeds, joining the church instead of being born into it. Well, if you're born into it, brother, sister, you act different. You stay with the Word. If the Holy Spirit's in you, It only feeds on the Word. Jesus said, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word (not part of the Word, but every Word) that proceedeth from the mouth of God." He, being a prophet, he would see this thing in us. If Amos was a prophet...

QA On The Seals 63-0324M  519-4  {374} "Now, here's one, I don't know how to touch it. And I got another one just before this one, and then I'm going to ask them to snap the tape just a minute. 48. If God is one personality, why, or how could He talk to Himself on Mount Transfiguration? Well, I've just explained that. You see, see? I'd like to ask you this. I'm going to... When Jesus prayed to the Father. You see? I believe you have the baptism of the Holy Ghost, don't you, brother? Why don't you stand up just a minute? You claim to have the baptism of the Holy Ghost? I do too. Then what is that? Then I don't claim that I have the powers within myself to unfold these mysteries. I don't have the power to heal the sick. It's God. I believe you're a minister. If I'm not mistaken, you're from Arkansas. All right. Now, and in you, you have is to preach the Gospel. Ordinarily you was raised on a farm and around like that. You just don't know nothing about it. But something come into you to preach the Gospel. You don't claim that to be yourself at all. That's another person, called the Holy Ghost. Is that right? Okay."

520-2  {377}  Now, I want to ask you. Do... That Holy Ghost dwells within you, is that right? Do you talk to Him? Speak to Him? Pray to Him? All right, that's all I want... Thank you very much. See? Now, do you get it? I'll ask you one: How did it come that when Jesus in St. John 3, He said, "When the Son of man shall be, which now is in heaven (See?)--now is in heaven, shall come to earth." See? "The Son of man which now is in heaven," and here He stood right here talking to the person. Now, you answer me that one. Jesus and the Father was the selfsame Person, just the same as the Holy Spirit in me. You're looking to me preaching, but it's not me. It's not me can speak a word that could bring, as you know, an animal; set there and looked at it, and kill the animal and eat it. That's creative power. That doesn't lay in a human being.

520-5  {380} It's not me could take a little boy here laying, the doctors laying him on his back, with heart trouble tonight, and say, "Thus saith William Branham..." No. "THUS SAITH THE LORD, it's finished." And bring him down to the doctor the next day and it's all gone. A kid with leukemia, till its eyes were bulged out, and yellow all over, and its stomach... until they taken it to the hospital to give it blood and things to even get it here; and in five minutes time, cry for a hamburger, and take it back to the doctor the next day and can't even find a trace of it. That's Thus Saith William Branham? That's THUS SAITH THE LORD. Yet He is an individual different from me, but the only way He's expressed is through me. See? That's how Jesus and the Father was. Jesus said, "It's not Me that doeth the works, it's My Father that dwelleth in Me." Now, the Son of man shall ascend from heaven, which now is in heaven. See? What was it? He was omnipresent because He was God.

Let us pray...
