Unveiling of God no 84

Seed-Life (Attributes and Characteristics)

March 3, 2019 pm - Communion service

Brian Kocourek, Pastor

This evening we are going to read again from The Unveiling of God from paragraph 99 through 102 and we will begin to examine what it means to be a son of God vs, the opposite which are suns of Belial or (Satan).

Now, looking at the flesh you will not be able to tell, but there are certain attributes which we will go into which will help us to understand who is who in this last days. We just spent 18 sermons looking at the Sovereignty of God beginning with God is sovereign in His Revelation, and concluding this morning with The Sovereignty of God and understanding the Godhood of God by His Rule, Rank and Power.

Tonight we will begin to examine Sons and Seed and will be entering into another protracted series concerning the attributes and characteristics that make up God Seed in comparison to the attributes and characteristics that define serpent seed. So to begin let's go back br. Branham's sermon The Unveiling of God and begin reading at pp 99.

99 Notice, now, the veil in human flesh, the promised Word to this age must also be veiled. Notice. Sin loving church members and sinners cannot see It because of the human veil. That's the reason they couldn't see Him. "Why, He's a man. Where did He come from? What fellowship card does He have? What church does He belong to?" (I want to speak on that tonight, "What church Does He Belong To?" See?) And so... See? "Now, what church does He belong to? What group? What school did He have? Where'd He get His education? Well, this man was born according to the tradition, according to the legend of Him around here, this man was born out of holy wedlock. Why, sure He's of the Devil. (See?) He's of the Devil. He was born out of holy wedlock. And Joseph just married her to keep her from being stoned, 'cause she was an adulterous. And that man come around and tell us priests what to do?" Ha.

Now before we go on to read from paragraph 100, just stop for a moment to examine what he just said here. He shows us how there are two classes of people, The Elect who do not focus on the vessel, but can see the attributes of God working in the vessel. and then the other group, the non-elect who get caught up in the Vessel every time.

Notice that is one identifiable characteristic that we will begin with but there are many, many more that we will cover before we get through this study. But this is the first and the last, the alpha and Omega identifiable characteristic for it also has to do with the sovereignty of God and how He chooses to Reveal Himself to some and not to others.

And the reason why He reveals to some and not to others is not only because He sovereignly chose to do it that way, but also is because of the characteristics of the seed of the two groups. The One seed being the very seed of God and the other being the very seed of Satan. And never forget that God begins the Book of Seeds, Genesis with telling us that when life comes forth it must come forth to a law of life, which is that "every seed must come forth after its kind" which is Genesis 1:11.

This is the law that governs all life, and it is also that which must be used to be able to identify the very attributes and characteristics in identifying which seed belongs to whom.

As Jesus told us in Matthew 7 "By their fruits you shal know them." Now, as we continue to read in brother Branham's sermon The Unveiling of God be looking for him to speak concerning what characteristics separate the two seeds.

100 And there was God standing there revealing that Word, crying, "My God, why has Thou forsaken Me?" The very songs they were singing in the temple, that David had made for them years ago, pertaining to Christ, "All My bones they stare at Me. They pierced My hands and My feet," and there they was standing there, singing that, and the very Man dying on the cross. And when they got through and the...When He died, the God of heaven come down like He did on Mount Sinai, with holy Fire, and burnt that temple veil from top to bottom, tore it apart. And what could they do? Look right there out of the temple window, on Calvary, and there was God in plain view, the Sacrifice.

101 But they don't see It yet today. God in this last day has rent those traditions away and brought the Word for this age right plain in view, and they still don't know It. They just don't know It. It's so simple. See, it's just so simple; It's so far away from the things of the world. I preached the other day at a certain gathering, of being a nut. One of these days I want to speak on that, "being a nut." We're all nuts for somebody, so I'll be one for Christ. Paul said he was counted a fool. Sure, you have to be. See, it takes a nut to hold the things together. That's right.

Ok, so brother Branham shows us what happened in the alpha ministry of Christ and how God made His word expressed before the people, and He made it so plain but yet they did not get it, they could not understand it, yet it was so clear to those that were His elect.

Now, you might ask yourself, "why was it so clear for some to see and recognize while others looked at the very same thing that took place and saw nothing.

Now the Apostle Paul tells us how it can be so that one group sees while the other group has no clue, and it all comes down to whether you are a seed of God made alive by His Spirit

1 Corinthians 2:7  But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

Notice that the apostle Paul tells us here that He is speaking the wisdom of God to us, and he says, it is the hidden wisdom yet not hidden from us because God has ordained it for our glory, our doxa. He has ordained this wisdom that is hidden from some but must be revealed to us is for our doxa, our opinions, values, and judgments.

And then he adds, 8  Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

Notice here that Paul ties the reaction to the Word with the ability to know it. If you truly heard it, recognized it, then you will act upon it as brother Branham preached in his sermon, "Hearing, Recognizing and Acting upon the Word." which he preached twice in 1960, showing u that if you truly hear and recognize what is preached you will have a certain action showing that you do believe what you heard.

Now, back to the apostle Paul and we will pick up at verse 9  But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear has heard, neither has it entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

Again Paul mentions two groups here, man and the prepared ones that Love God. So we see that one group has no clue. They have heard but not understood what they heard. They saw but had no clue to what they saw. And so it has never entered into their hearts what God has for the other Group that He predestined to receive what he has already prepared for them that love Him. Two Groups, and so we se very clearly the identifiable characteristic of the one who see, recognizes what they see and then they act upon what they have seen and recognized, while the others may have seen with their eyes, and heard with their ears, but because they are not predestined to it, they have no clue what it actually means.

And we can say that God changes not, and He has done the same thing in this day as well. For  God Himself has come down with a Shout, which we know is a Message. And God Himself has Appeared in this hour before the Coming of His Son Jesus, just like He did in Abraham's day before the coming of the promised son of that day. And He has appeared to us in the form of the Pillar of Fire to get us ready for the Coming of His Son Jesus.

And we see that God's Parousia-Presence is still here leading us to the millennium and is still working out the predestined and fore-ordained details of signs and events of this great presence, showing us the identifiable characteristics of His Parousia Presence as we spoke in the Faith series, showing that God has already fulfilled 79 of the 84 identifiable characteristics of His Parousia-Presence.

And yet there are two groups of people that have seen, and heard this Shout, yet there is only one group who has heard it, recognized it, and has acted upon it, while the other is not even aware that He prophesied what was to be done through his son Jesus, and then the apostles Paul, Peter, John and James. For each of these men of God spoke to us and wrote down what God would do when He appeared in this end time.

So we ask why was it revealed to some, while it was not revealed to others and the apostle Paul tells us very clearly why some receive the revelation and others do not in verse 10.

He says, 10  But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for The Spirit (and there is only one The Spirit and that is God's Spirit) searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

And therefore, there is only one way that God can reveal the hidden mysteries of God to you and that is He must also impart His life to you. So by imparting Life, His Life, you also receive the hidden wisdom of God. For that is what the Holy Spirit is for. For you to be able to hear, recognize and then to act upon the Word of God.

Then Paul reminds us that man on his own cannot do this. He says, 11  For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so (or in the same manner) the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God knows. Therefore Paul is telling us that the only way you can know and understand the things of God is by receiving the very same Spirit of God in you. And then he says, 12  Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Notice he says, We receive the Spirit of God that we might know the things of God. That is why God gives us His Spirit.

13  Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. We are not interested in knowing and understanding the things man is interested in. Our interest comes in knowing and understanding the things that God has for us to know and understand.

And then notice how Paul qualifies and clarifies this again by saying, 14  But the natural man (the man who has not the spirit of God living in Him) receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

So if the natural man does not receive the things of God, and actually cannot even know them, he says because it is to be discerned by those who are spirit filled.

15  But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.  16  For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

Now, in paragraph 102 brother Branham continues to teach us that this inability to know and understand is because of the veil that God uses to Hide His Spirit and thus His word through.  Jesus told us that those who are made in such a way as to hear and give back or echo his Word are the ones in which he will manifest Himself to them and through them.

John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

Now, remember in John 14:12 Jesus tells us "if we are true believers which means if we truly have received His Spirit living in us, then we will do what he does."

And then in verse 20 he tells us  20  At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. 21  He that hath my commandments, (My Word, and remember He said, My Words are Spirit and Life. So He that has my Word, my Spirit, My Life) and keepeth them, (He that watches over my Word with an active participation) he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

And so Judas is curious as to how Jesus will manifest Himself to them and not to the world, 22  Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? How is it that we will see, hear and recognize and the world will not?

Now, listen to Jesus answer, because this shows you how it is that some will hear and recognize and act upon what they hear and recognize while others will not. 23  Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep (watch and guard) my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Now, that means that you will see, and recognize because you and Christ and God have become one. 20  At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. And the only way for you to see the real Message of the shout is to become the expression of that Shout.

Now, let's pick up at pp. 102   So notice the veil, the human flesh. Know... Now, the sin loving people could not see that. Those traditional religious people, they couldn't see that, because He was a man. What? That human flesh hid God. Now, if He'd been a great Pillar of Fire that come down (See?), a great Pillar of Fire had come down and showed them that what He was, that He was this great Pillar of Fire, they might've believed that, if Jehovah would've run around. But you see what He did, so that He could bypass all them smart, wise people, He just revealed Himself like He promised Moses (See?), "I'll speak to them through a Prophet." And He was Son of man, a Prophet. And some of them recognized It; about one hundredth percent of one hundred in the world, they believed It. The rest of them didn't, but He was just the same.

And so the very same way that God uses a prophet and lives in that prophet Jesus promised that he and the father would take up residence in the true son of God At that day, ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

I believe that only those who are truly born of God and filled with His Spirit can recognize and understand what has happened in this hour with William Branham, because that is what God has done with them also. remember, Judas asked Jesus, How is it that you will manifest yourself to some and not to others, and Jesus tells us that he and the Father will come into us and make their abode with us. So how can you not understand it when your very life has become the manifestation of it.

Others will get caught up with the vessel, some wanting to worship the vessel and others criticizing the vessel, and each of them not understanding how it is that God is manifesting Himself to that prophet and to those true believers who are also filled with His Spirit. It is these to whom God is manifesting himself in and through them that will have the correct understanding what to do with the vessel, and to them the vessel will not blind them to the Parousia-Presence of Christ. For they will see God and not a vessel.

Now, brother Branham explains this further in pp. 103 But there was the Mighty God standing in full view, the mercy Seat.

And yet the people, the unregenerate man, did not see God using that vessel, what they saw was a vessel that by this point was so damaged that He was disfigured that the eyes would be repulsed to even look upon that vessel as Isaiah said in  Isaiah 53:3 He is despised (that means disesteemed, considered vile) and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. He was disesteemed, even to the point of a total lack of esteem for him.

And why was there no esteem, no value to the vessel hanging there on that cross? Because they were totally separated from it, because they could not see their part in that word.

But Isaiah goes on to say, 4  Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken,(beaten) smitten of God, and afflicted.

Isaiah says they would not even look upon that vessel because he was so disfigured, yet if we had God in us we would see that vessel was you, and it was me as we ought to be for our sin, yet he took all the punishment for us. If the people had God life in them, whey would see that the manifestation in that vessel had to do with their own life. And that is what Jesus tells us in John 14:20 after telling us that if we had the same spirit we would do the same works, then he tells us the reason why He will manifest to us and not to the world, because "At that day, ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you."

And so we see Isaiah continue telling us that what Jesus had to go through is so we don't. But what He is in this world we are to become. 5  But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.  6  All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; (self centered, self centric) and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.  7  He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. 8  He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation?  for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.  9  And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.  10  Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

O my, there you are, "when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days... when God will make the first  born an offering for the rest of the Seed of God, then in Him will you see God seed, and when you See God working through that vessel you identify with it because "At that day, ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you."

11  He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. 12  Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Now, in getting back to what brother Branham was telling us here in The Unveiling of God, he says in 103 "He died when His Own children saying... His Own children there, saying, "We won't have him. Away with him." Spit on Him. A type, way back, when David was leaving the temple, rejected king. Went down through the street, and a little, old crippled-up fellow crawling along, never did like him, he called him "old hypocrite" or something, spit right in his face. And that guard pulled a sword, said, "I'll let that dog's head stay on him, spit on my king?" David said, "Let him alone; God told him that." And David probably didn't know what he said. Went up on the mountain, looking back, crying. Eight hundred years from there, the Son of David was climbing the same mountain, looking out, weeping over Jerusalem, a rejected King. And they spit in His face. Don't you see? It's the same thing. See that Word coming on down, following on down today? Always rejected by the majority (See?), believed in the minority.

And so we see the attributes of the two groups, one rejecting the vessel and thus rejecting God while the other focusing on the God who is using that vessel, and not making the vessel God, but knowing that the same God that is manifesting Himself to them is using that vessel to manifest Himself to them.

104   Now, see, they couldn't believe it. Those Greeks, they couldn't see Him; He was in His human temple. "Why," they said, "this man's name is Jesus; He comes from Nazareth."Now, they only had one name there in them days, like "John, Jim." They say, "John from Jeffersonville, Jim from New Albany," or something like that. You see? He said, "This is Jesus from Nazareth. It's common believed that His mother was pregnated by a soldier." See? And then that's exactly what they believed. Sure. And say they said, "Now, and this is Jesus of Nazareth." You see? "Who is He?" See, they couldn't understand that. But why?

105   This Word for that day was; He was preaching, said, "Search the Scriptures. In Them you think you have Eternal Life, and They testify Who I am. If you can't believe Me, being... Forget Me, as a veil; believe the Word that's coming forth. Two is a witness," He said, "I speak and the Father speaks for Me." Amen. That's right. "I speak of the Word of this day and the Father confirms It. Now, is that a witness to you?" Oh, it is. See? That's how it's to be fulfilled.

Oh, how I like what he just said there. When you recognize the full word for the day when you live you not only will hear it, but you will recognize it and then you will act upon it, like Moses had to step into the water for the waters to part, and how Noah had to enter the ark for the rain to come, and you have to recognize you are the sons of God who were in His mind before the foundations of the world who were ordained to be conformed to the image of the first born son. Then you will manifest as a son, because it is not you manifesting, but Jesus promised us how this manifestation would take place to us and not to the world when Judas asked him how He would come and manifest Himself to us, and he said,  22  Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? How is it that we will see, hear and recognize and the world will not?

Now, listen to Jesus answer, because this shows you how it is that some will hear and recognize and act upon what they hear and recognize while others will not. 23  Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep (watch and guard) my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

"At that day, ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you."

106   Notice in II Corinthians now, In II Corinthians, 3rd chapter, the 6th verse, the old temple housed God behind old skins from the Jews. When the old veil was rent, still the Jews, blinded to Who He was, and Who He is yet... And then Pentecost revealed Who the true and living God was, when that veil was cut in two, with God, from the top... Why did that veil do that? Why did it do it? Why did there come such a Message today to do what It's done? Why did It come? Why did...?

107 There was someone going to call me, someday here not long ago, wanted to debate with me about the church age, that "God was in His holy church," and things like that. And I found out it was some woman preacher, and I just forgot about it. See, if it'd been some man that was going to be all right, it'd been different. But what's the use in going plumb over into another country there, when I've got to leave a meeting here to do it? You see? So I just let them alone. The blind leads the blind, they all fall in the ditch, so...

Before we bow our heads in prayer Let's open our Bibles now to 1 Corinthians 11 and see how the apostle Paul brought this all into what we now use for our communion text, and brothers if you would bring forth the elements for communion.

1 Corinthians 11:23  For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: 24  And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.  25  After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. 26  For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come. (and how do we show forth the Lords death until He comes? We come before this table tonight knowing if we have not crucified ourselves and letting His life live ours, we know we come and will drink condemnation to ourselves not discerning the body of the Lord. and that is what the Apostle Paul tell us next.)

27  Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 28  But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 29  For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.  30  For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. 31  For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. 32  But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world. 33  Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another. 34  And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.

Let's bow our heads in prayer.
