Unveiling

God
Changing His Mask Part 1- The Whirlwind
April 4, 2018
Wednesday evening
Brian
Kocourek, Pastor
This evening I
would like to take a short message from a few paragraphs of br. Branham's
sermon The Unveiling of God, and examine how God has changed his mask from time
to time throughout His visitations with man, and in particular how God chose a
whirlwind on several occasion to use as the vessel of his choice to talk to
certain of his prophets.
So let's begin
by reading from paragraph 18 of The Unveiling
of God, where brother Branham said, "And so we find even back as far as Job. Job knew that
there was a God. He knew it. And there's not a human being in their right mind
but what knows there's got to be Something somewhere. And now, Job wanted to
talk to Him. And I want you to notice the form that God chose to talk to Job
in. God was veiled when He talked to
Job. He was veiled in a
whirlwind, came down in a
whirlwind. You believe that God still comes in a whirlwind to unveil
Himself?"
We find this story that he mentions in Job 38:1 Then the LORD answered Job out
of the whirlwind, and said,
Notice that
God spoke to Job out of whirlwind, and the
Nook of Job is the oldest book in the Bible, and he lived perhaps a few
generations before Abraham as his longevity would place him in that era. I
would like to background Job a little more before we go any further.
Pardoned 63-1028 P:34 Nimrod built a
tower, and Nebuchadnezzar a city, and so forth. They go on down through
scientists and everything, but ever still remains that it was the Blood that...
God made His decision that it would be a innocent substitute would have to take
the guilty man's place for pardon, and it remains the same thing tonight. He
never has changed it. Job lived by it--Job the oldest book
in the Bible. And though everything happened to that man yet he
stood firm, because he knowed he had met Jehovah's requirements. He
knowed it was right: Abraham, the same way, many of them. Israel met
only... There was only one place that Israel could have fellowship. That was
under the shed blood. Men ought everywhere to worship in Jerusalem. Until there
was a sacrifice there was no worship, and the sacrifice was blood.
God's provided approach to
fellowship 60-0630 P:35 Job, the
oldest book in the Bible... Even before Genesis was ever wrote, Job
lived on the earth. And you remember Job--all of his troubles, all of his
trials, and his friends even accusing him, his friends against him, yet, Job
maintained the promise of God. He maintained a fellowship in the hours of
trial, insomuch that he cried; he said, "I know my Redeemer liveth."When he
was suffering and even his wife said, "Job, why don't you curse God and die?" Job was
under the Blood. He'd offer the burnt Sacrifice (which he knowed he was
righteous, because that's what God required); he'd come under the Blood and had
Divine fellowship with God. Even in the last hours of his great temptation,
he cried, "Though
he slay me, yet I'll trust Him." Amen.
For Him will I accept 52-0718
P:19 That's praying one for the other, the value of prayer. Now, these
counselors that had come down, and set before Job, he was... That's
the oldest book in the Bible. Probably was... Job lived along the
time of Nimrod, and back in there, somewhere down from Seth to Abraham.
And it's the... It was written, the book of Job, before Genesis was.
But he was a priest and a prince. And he loved the Lord. And God
blessed him, made him a great man. And then Satan came up... Now,
here's what I want you to watch: Satan come up with the sons of God, setting
right among them, and begin to speak to Job, or God begin to speaking
about the earth. He said, to Satan, "Have you considered my servant Job, a perfect man, none like him in
the earth?"
Now, I was
able to get a little more information from a website called
"apologetics.org" that deals with Bible questions concerning these
historical matters, and here is what I found.
"Neither the book of Job nor any other book of the Bible
indicates forthrightly when God’s servant Job lived upon the Earth.
Furthermore, no biblical genealogies with chronological information, such as
that found in Genesis 5 and 11, help in approximating the century in which Job lived.
Nevertheless, various clues within
the book of Job seem to indicate Job lived sometime after the Flood, but long
before the time of Moses.
First, Job’s post-diluvian
status seems apparent from a question Eliphaz raised in his final speech. While
accusing Job of wickedness, Eliphaz asked: “Will you
keep to the old way which wicked
men have trod, who were cut down before their time, whose
foundations were swept
away by a flood?” (Job 22:16). As Wayne Jackson
noted: “That this is a reference to the
Flood of Noah’s day is almost universally conceded by scholars” (1983, p.
58).
Second, that Job was a patriarch who lived prior to the time of Moses,
and probably closer to the time of Abraham, seems evident from the following
facts: Since Job was born before Jacob whose name was Changed to Israel, this
would make Job Gentile like Abraham was Gentile. Israelites were the children
of Israel and the generations afterwards.
Like other patriarchs of old (Genesis
8:20; 12:7-8; 31:54), Job, as head of his
family, offered up sacrifices to God (Job 1:5;
42:8).
In the book of Job, there is no mention of the Levitical priesthood, the
tabernacle, the temple, the Law of Moses, etc."
I would like to add that Israel was told by God during the Exodus
to offer up seven bullocks and seven Rams, as did the prophet Balaam do the
same, so this had to be an established offering even before the Books of Moses
were written.
Numbers 23:29 And
Balaam said unto Balak, Build me here seven altars, and prepare me here seven
bullocks and seven rams.
Numbers 29:1 And in
the seventh month, on the first day of the month,
ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work: it is a day of
blowing the trumpets unto you. 2 And ye shall offer a burnt offering for a
sweet savour unto the LORD; one young bullock, one ram, and
seven lambs of the first year without blemish:
Numbers
29:32 And on
the seventh day seven bullocks, ... 33 And their meat offering and their drink
offerings for the bullocks, for the rams, and for the lambs, shall be according to their number, after the manner:
And then we see in David's time this seven bullocks
and seven rams established in the Levitical worship. 1 Chronicles 15:26 And it
came to pass, when God helped the Levites that bare the ark of the covenant of
the LORD, that they offered seven bullocks and seven rams.
"Unlike Israelite law, where the family inheritance was
passed on to daughters only in the absence of sons (Numbers
27:1-11; 36:1-13), Job gave his
daughters “an inheritance among their brothers” (Job 42:15).
Job’s material wealth was measured, not in money, but in the amount
of livestock he owned (Job 1:3; 42:12), which is more characteristic of patriarchal times.
Finally, that Job lived
long before the time of Moses seems evident by the fact that the longevity of
his life is more comparable to the long lives of the patriarchs who lived
around 2200 B.C. The book of Job reveals that Job lived long enough to marry, become “the
greatest of all the men of the east” (1:3), and then witness
his first 10 children reach at least the age of
accountability (1:5), and probably much
greater ages (cf. 1:13,18).
Then, after suffering great loss, losing all of his children and
his material wealth as well, God blessed Job by restoring his 10 children and everything else he had lost,
was restored double (Job 42:10-13). The book of Job then end with saying: “After
this Job lived one hundred and forty years,
and saw his children and grandchildren for four generations. So Job died, old
and full of days” (Job
42:10-17). Therefore Job
lived well into his 200's or perhaps even beyond. The Septuagint states that
Job died around the age of 24, which is much like the ancestors of Abraham (ie:
Serug, Abraham’s great-grandfather lived to be 230, as we see in Genesis
11:22-23).
Abraham's Father Terah lived 205 years
Abraham's Grandfather Serug lived 230
years
Abraham's Great Grandfather Reu lived
239 years
Abraham's Great-Great Grandfather Peleg
lived 239 years
Abrahams Great-Great-Great Grandfather
Eber lived 464 years
Abraham's Great-Great-Great-Great
Grandfather Salah Lived 433 years
Abraham's Great-Great-Great-Great-Great
Grandfather Arphaxad who was born 2 years after the flood Lived 438 years
Abraham's
Great-Great-Great-Great-Great-Great Grandfather Shem who was the son of Noah
lived 600 years. I am feeling led one of these days to go back and show you
what the time was like back then and show how God raised up Shem as the guiding
light to keep men's remembrance of the judgment of the flood before them, and
how his brother Ham's grandson Nimrod raised up to bring the people into sin
and religious mysteries, and you will see how that all of the Roman false
worship can be tied right back into what Nimrod did.
Now, in
getting back to what brother Branham was telling us, concerning God speaking to
Job out of the whirlwind, We find this story that Brother Branham mentions in
the Book of Job
38:1 Then the LORD answered Job out of the
whirlwind, and said, 2 Who is this
that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge? 3 Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I
will demand of thee, and answer thou me. 4 Where wast thou when I laid the
foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. 5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if
thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? 6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the
corner stone thereof; 7 When the morning stars sang together, and
all the sons of God shouted for joy? 8 Or who shut
up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if
it had issued out of the womb? 9 When I made the cloud the garment thereof,
and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it, 10 And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors, 11 And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no
further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed? 12 Hast thou commanded the morning since thy
days; and caused the dayspring to know his place;
13 That it might take hold of the ends of the
earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it? 14 It is turned as clay to the seal; and they stand as a garment. 15 And from the wicked their light is
withholden, and the high arm shall be broken. 16 Hast thou entered into the springs of the
sea? or hast thou walked in the search of the depth? 17 Have the gates of death been opened unto
thee? or hast thou seen the doors of the shadow of death? 18 Hast thou perceived the breadth of the
earth? declare if thou knowest it all. 19 Where is the
way where light dwelleth? and as for darkness, where is
the place thereof, 20 That thou shouldest take it to the bound thereof,
and that thou shouldest know the paths to the
house thereof? 21 Knowest thou it, because thou wast
then born? or because the number of thy days is great? 22 Hast thou entered into the treasures of
the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail, 23 Which I have reserved against the time of
trouble, against the day of battle and war? 24 By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth? 25 Who hath divided a watercourse for the
overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder; 26 To cause it to rain on the earth, where
no man is; on the wilderness, wherein there is no man; 27 To satisfy the desolate and waste ground; and to cause the bud of the tender herb to
spring forth? 28 Hath the rain a father? or who hath
begotten the drops of dew? 29 Out of whose womb came the ice? and the
hoary frost of heaven, who hath gendered it? 30 The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen. 31 Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades,
or loose the bands of Orion? 32 Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his
season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons? 33 Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven?
canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth? 34 Canst thou lift up thy voice to the
clouds, that abundance of waters may cover thee? 35 Canst thou send lightnings, that they may
go, and say unto thee, Here we are? 36 Who hath put wisdom in the inward parts?
or who hath given understanding to the heart? 37 Who can number the clouds in wisdom? or
who can stay the bottles of heaven, 38 When the dust groweth into hardness, and
the clods cleave fast together? 39 Wilt thou hunt the prey for the lion? or
fill the appetite of the young lions, 40 When they couch in their
dens, and abide in the covert to lie in wait? 41 Who provideth for the raven his food? when
his young ones cry unto God, they wander for lack of meat.
Job 40:6 Then answered
the LORD unto Job out of the whirlwind, and said, 7 Gird
up thy loins now like a man: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me. 8 Wilt thou also disannul my judgment? wilt
thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous? 9 Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like
him? 10 Deck thyself now with
majesty and excellency; and array thyself with glory and beauty. 11 Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath: and
behold every one that is proud, and abase him. 12 Look on every one that
is proud, and bring him low; and tread
down the wicked in their place. 13 Hide them in the dust together; and bind their faces in secret. 14 Then will I also confess unto thee that thine own right hand can
save thee. 15 Behold now behemoth, which I made with
thee; he eateth grass as an ox. 16 Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is
in the navel of his belly. 17 He moveth his tail like a cedar: the
sinews of his stones are wrapped together.
18 His bones are as
strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars
of iron. 19 He is the
chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him. 20 Surely the mountains bring him forth food,
where all the beasts of the field play. 21 He lieth under the shady trees, in the
covert of the reed, and fens. 22 The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him
about. 23 Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan
into his mouth. 24 He taketh it with his eyes: his nose pierceth through snares.
Again we see that the Lord used a whirlwind to take
Elijah up into heaven.
2 Kings 2:1 And it
came to pass, when the LORD would take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind,
that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal.
2 Kings 2:11 And it
came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a
chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah
went up by a whirlwind into heaven.
Psalm 77:18 The sound of Your thunder
was in the whirlwind; The lightnings lit up the world; The earth trembled and
shook.
2 Kings 2:1 And it came about when
the LORD was about to take up Elijah by a whirlwind to heaven, that Elijah went
with Elisha from Gilgal.
2 Kings 2:11 As they were going along
and talking, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire and horses of fire which
separated the two of them. And Elijah went up by a whirlwind to heaven.
All in all, there are 22 times in all that the Scriptures speaks of the
Lord and whirlwinds, many times the whirlwind of the Lord as being a
destructive thing that God sends upon man in judgment. This is what brother
Branham suggests to us happened before the great Alaskan Earthquake which took
place on March 28 which was Good Friday in 1964.
Now, let's continue with brother Branham's sermon The Unveiling of God
and we will read from paragraph 19 There's several
setting here, a number, that was with us the other day when He came in a
whirlwind, told us the day before, Brother Banks Wood, them, when He said,
"Take up this rock; throw it up in the air, and say, 'THUS SAITH THE LORD.
You will see it right away.'" And I picked up the rock up on top of the
mountain, threw it up in the air, and the... 'Course, coming down, it started a
whirlwind (See?), the suction of it. You have to do something to cause something
to follow it. Jesus took a piece of bread and broke it, then multiplied from
that piece of bread. He took water, poured it into a pitcher. Elijah took salt,
put it in a cruse; cut down a stick, throwed it on the water. It's something to
symbolize. And picking up this rock and throwing it into the air, and coming
down started the whirlwind.
Life story footprints book 59-0419A P:43 I picked up my
little buckets and squalled a couple more times and started up the lane; I was
resting. And I got just few feet from that, out from under the branches of this
big tree, and, oh, my, it made a whirl sounding. And I turned to look, and
about halfway up that tree was another whirlwind, caught in that tree just
a-going around and around, moving those leaves. Well, I thought nothing strange
about that, because it just in that time of year. In the autumn, why, those
whirlwinds come, little... We call them "whirlwinds." And they--and
they pick up dust. You've seen them on the desert like that: same thing. So I
watched, but it didn't leave off. Usually it's just a puff for a moment, then
it goes, but it'd already been in there two minutes or more.
Handwriting on the wall
56-0902 P:57 I stood by an old tree up here when I was first
saved. I didn't know how to talk to the Lord, but I wanted to get right. I
never did speak to Him. So you know how I prayed my first prayer? I was going
to write it out on a piece of paper. Being a woodsman, I always lived in the
woods, mostly. And I noticed that out here; I'd see Him in the woods. I could
hear Him. I could hear His footprints, like, as He come through the nighttime
in the whirlwind. Oh, He rides upon the whirlwind. Hallelujah. His
wave is in a whirlwind. I could see Him as He claps His hands with the
leaves like that. Everything in a voice saying, "Adam, where art
thou?" Oh, laying down under the blanket with my head sticking out,
looking at the stars. I knowed He stayed in the woods.
God providing healing
54-0719E P:23 Then there was no ensign; there was nothing left
that the people could see, or look upon, and believe that God would still heal.
And immediately, there come a whirlwind down out of heaven to the pool of Bethesda, and
God provided a way of healing for the people. And every Israelite that
believed in God, and believed He was a Healer, could step into that pool, when
it was troubled, and be healed of any kind of a disease he had. Is that right?
When one ensign was taken away, God lifted up another one. When one way was
ended, God lifted up another way. There was...
Works is faith expressed
65-1126 P:25 Right beside a great canyon, eight or ten times
higher than this building, just a box canyon; like a fire come down from the
heavens, like a whirlwind, just a few feet above where I was
standing, and ripped the rocks right out of the mountain, went out through and cut
the tops of the mesquite trees off, for a hundred yards out. Everybody
running, and trying to get under trucks and everything else. It went back up
again and clapped like a great thunder, went back up in the skies again, and
come down again, and done that three times. And when it was all over, they come
over and asked, "What did it mean?"I said, "I don't want to tell
you, it was a judgment sign. In a few days a great
earthquake's going to strike on the west. And it won't stop.
California, Los Angeles will sink. It's going down. It'll slide right into the
ocean." And two days after that, the Alaskan earthquake shook Alaska.
And remember,
he said it won't stop at Alaska, that fault line was weakened and one of these
days will set loose and California will go in judgment upon for the wickedness
that has been exported through the sodomites that run the government and
industries there.
Yes, not only
the government are sodomies, but look at the Silicon Valley, Steve Jobs was a
sodomite, and died wearing women's clothing, and he appointed Tim Cook another
sodomite to take over running the business. And look at all the investors out
there that are raving sodomites, and proud of it. Oh, California is doomed.
This day this scripture
65-0219 P:41 Notice another great sign. the Jews are in their
homeland, their own nation, their own money, a member of the United Nations;
they got their own army; they got everything. They're in their homeland which
Jesus said, "Learn
a parable of the fig tree." There they are, right back in their nation. This day this Scripture's fulfilled. The
Jews in their homeland, this day this Scripture is fulfilled. The
Laodicea church age, this
day this Scripture (Matthew 24) is fulfilled. The
world is in corruption (the whole thing), nations against nations, earthquakes in divers places, great whirlwinds coming down,
shaking the nations and so forth, great disasters everywhere: this day this Scripture is fulfilled.
WHIRLWINDS
of JUDGMENTS
1 Thessalonians 5:1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no
need that I write unto you. 2 For yourselves know
perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden
destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 4 But ye,
brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. 5 Ye are all
the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night,
nor of darkness. 6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do
others; but let us watch and be sober. 7 For they
that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. 8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober,
putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. 9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath,
but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
In the book of
Ezekiel 13:10-14 we are told, “‘Because they lead my people astray, saying, “Peace,” when there is no peace, and
because, when a flimsy wall is built, (the walls of separation
between Israel and the New Palestinian state) they
cover it with whitewash, The flimsy wall of separation that is
supposed to broker peace is the new state of Palestine/Israeli border, which
the PLO and the other extremist terrorist groups are flinging their missiles
over daily, what use is a fence, wall or an white washed agreement that is
supposedly to bring peace. 11 therefore tell those who cover it with whitewash that it is
going to fall. What’s going
to fall? The agreement between Israel and the Palestinian Arabs because we
already read in Joel 3 where God said, “I shall reverse the captivity and restore the fortunes of Judah and
Jerusalem”.
So God Himself promised to begin destruction by
hurricanes to those who would pursue the division of Israel and the false hope of Peace that
would come by a whitewashed agreement. Notice again verse 11 tells us, 11
therefore tell those who cover it with whitewash (hogwash) that it is going to fall. Rain will come in torrents,
and I will send hailstones hurtling down, and violent winds (hurricanes
and tornadoes) will burst forth. 12 When the wall collapses, will
people not ask you, “Where is the whitewash you covered it with?”
13
“‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: In my wrath I will unleash a violent wind,(hurricanes and tornadoes) and in my anger hailstones
and torrents of rain will fall
with destructive fury. (the
flooding aftermath of the hurricanes and tornadoes) 14 I will tear down
the wall you have covered with whitewash (hogwash) and will level it to the ground so that its foundation will
be laid bare. When it falls, you will be
destroyed in it; and you will know that I am the LORD. 15 So I will pour out my wrath against
the wall and against those who covered it with whitewash. I will say to you,
“The wall is gone and so are those who whitewashed it, 16 those prophets of Israel who prophesied to Jerusalem and saw
visions of peace for her when there was no peace, declares the Sovereign
LORD.”’
Obadiah 1:15 "For the day of
the LORD upon all the nations is near. As you have done to Israel, it shall be
done to you. Your reprisal shall return upon your own head"
The Results of Dealing
With Yasser Arafat
September 1, 1993:

West into uncontrolled fires. By the end of August, fire burns 7 million acres.
November 9, 2000: Arafat meets with
President Clinton at the White House to try and salvage the peace process. This
was just two days after the presidential election. The nation was just entering
into an election crisis which was the worst in over 100 years.
November 11, 2001:
Arafat speaks at the UN General Assembly and condemns Israel. He later meets
with Secretary of State Colin Powell. On this day, Saddam threatens the US with
nuclear weapons. Within 24 hours of meeting with Powell, an airplane crashes in
NYC killing 265 people. The crash was 15 miles from where Arafat Spoke.

with F-5 tornado very close to White house.
August 23, 2005: Israel pulls out all
persons from the Gaza strip and the west bank in accord with the US plan for
the Palestinian Statehood. The same day according to Wikipedia. Hurricane
Katrina begins forming over waters off Bahamas.
HEADLINES: Aug. 15-Aug. 23, 2005 Gaza and West Bank Disengagement: In
an effort to relieve the security threats against Israelis living in Gaza and
to try to put the Israeli-Palestinian peace talks back on track, Israel unilaterally pulls all of its citizens
out of the Gaza Strip and the northern West Bank. On Sept. 12, 2005, the last Israel Defense Forces soldier
departs the Gaza Strip. Therefore, According to Wikipedia
the very day that the Israel
unilaterally pulled all of its citizens out of the Gaza Strip and the northern
West Bank to
begin the division of Israel Hurricane
Katrina began as we will see below. It was the
costliest natural disaster, as well as one of the five deadliest hurricanes, in the history of the United States.
Among recorded Atlantic hurricanes, it was the sixth strongest overall. At
least 1,836 people died in the actual hurricane and in the subsequent
floods, making it the deadliest U.S. hurricane since the 1928 Okeechobee
hurricane; total property damage was estimated at $81 billion (2005
USD), nearly triple the damage wrought
by Hurricane Andrew in 1992. Hurricane Katrina formed over the Bahamas on August 23, 2005 and crossed southern
Florida as a moderate Category 1 hurricane, causing some deaths and
flooding there before strengthening rapidly in the Gulf of Mexico. The storm
weakened before making its second landfall as a Category 3 storm on the
morning of Monday, August 29 in southeast Louisiana. It caused severe
destruction along the Gulf coast from central Florida to Texas, much of it due
to the storm surge. The most
significant amount of deaths occurred in New Orleans, Louisiana, which flooded as the levee system catastrophically failed, in many cases hours
after the storm had moved inland. Eventually 80% of the city and large tracts
of neighboring parishes became flooded, and the floodwaters lingered for weeks.
However, the worst property damage occurred in coastal areas, such as all
Mississippi beachfront towns, which were flooded over
90% in hours, as boats and casino barges rammed buildings, pushing cars and
houses inland, with waters reaching 6–12 miles (10–19 km) from the
beach.
Let's read
some more about God using whirlwinds when he commissioned brother Branham at a
very young age.
From his
sermon The Trial 64-0419 P:33 he said,
"And as a
child, about eight years old, seven or eight years old, I was packing water to
a moonshine still that my father owned. And while one warm September afternoon,
setting down, crying, going fishing out to the pond with the boys, and they...
Couldn't go on account of I had to pack this water. I heard like a whirlwind in
the tree, about halfway up. Still, everywhere else, September in Indiana,
everything's real still, dying, quiet. And this whirlwind in a bush,
there come a Voice out of there, and said, "Never smoke,
drink, defile your body (That's run with women.), anything like that,
for there's a work for you to do when you get older." And my mother
called the doctor; she thought I was so nervous. A week after that, I seen the
Municipal Bridge in a trance (as I called it), seen the Municipal Bridge
cross the Ohio River and seen sixteen men lose their life on it. Twenty-two
years from that day, the Municipal Bridge crosses the same place, and sixteen
men lost their life in it.
20
The next day while... There was a minister with us on a hunting trip. He was
standing close, and he said to me, "Does the Lord give visions out like
this, Brother Branham?"I said, "Yes, but I usually come out here to
rest." And just then the vision came.
And Brother Borders, the (I think he's outside now.), he was along; Brother
Banks Wood, I think, and, oh, several was up there, eight or ten. And Brother
Banks Wood watching for this right on the mountain, right across from it,
exactly about one half mile where the seven Angels appeared that I left here to
go there for, that come back and told about the seven seals. Just about a half
a mile from that...
21 And then the next day when this was going on,
while the... I said to this brother, I said, "What's your trouble, you've
got an allergy in your eye. The doctors has tried for a couple years to stop
it, and they can't do it. They say it's going to eat your eye out." And I
said, "But don't worry; the Lord Jesus has honored your faith." And
he just dropped his gun. And I said, "Your mother..." just what she
was and what was wrong with her. And he said, "That's the truth."
22 Brother Roy Roberson from the church here, standing
present, I guess all of you know him. Knowing he was a veteran and knowing what
was going to take place, I put my hand on his shoulder, I said, "Brother
Roberson, be careful; watch; something's fixing to happen."I
walked back to where I was supposed to be standing, and out of the air came a whirlwind,
down through a canyon, from above, that was so great till it tore rocks eight
or ten inches through, out of the top of the mountain, and throwed them two
hundred yards out in, and clapped three times like that, and a voice came from
it. See? And all of them standing there... Brother Banks, present now, came up
and said, "That was what you told me yesterday?"I said, "Yes,
sir, that's it."He said, "Now, what did It say?"I said,
"Now, that's just for me to know, Brother Banks (See?), because it was...
It would alarm people."
23 But It went ahead, it happened just a
little... Traveling northward, a little, few days later It hit in the ocean,
and you seen what happened around Fairbanks. It was a judgment sign.
Now, we find that God still... You see, it'd throw people into panic. And so
then that had to happen. See? It just has to happen. The things that's got to
happen has got to happen anyhow. See, it's going to happen anyhow.
