#209A Rev. Marcus Janckheere, The New Birth

Christ is the Mystery of God Revealed

September 13th, 2014

(You may be seated)

Well, it is real pleasure for me to be here with you this morning. And it is not only a pleasure, but a privilege by the grace of God to find lovers of God's Word in this very nice State called OHIO.

I certainly would not like to forget to give you the greetings of the saints in different areas in Europe, who do love the Truth as you do. Although there is a ocean between us, the Holy Spirit is not limited by borders. That is why I feel at home over here. And you know why ? Because Jesus gave us a promise regarding the earth, and He gave the same promise to you and me. What did He say:

The meek shall inherit a grain of sand ? Oh, no. the meek shall inherit a street ? No, the meek shall inherit a village ? No, the meek shall inherit a state ? No, He said: The meek shall inherit the earth. So my place is also yours. Amen. So, I feel at home.

I want to thank specially your pastor for inviting me to bring the Word of God today, and I appreciate very much, the hospitality, and the wonderful cooking. Restaurant Kocourek is a very good restaurant. May God richly bless you Br. Brian, Sis. Lavonne and your family for the felloowship this past days and every person in here this morning, thank. You know, all good things have an end, except eternal life.

Let stand to our feet for the reading of God's Word.

Mark 10:17 unto verse 27 17 And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?
And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.
Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.
And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth.
Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.
And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!
It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?
And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
