1Romans 8:19For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. 20For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, 21Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. 23And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. 24For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? 25But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
2Let us pray… Dear father we come humbly and reverently into Thy presence this morning knowing that we will be held accountable for every idle word we speak, and wanting to know your mind, and your will O God, we bow ourselves before Thy Great Presence as we approach Thy Word for this hour, knowing that all creation is groaning and travailing because they are waiting for your children to find their position in the Great family of God. And all creation is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God, and we know that, that manifestation can not be any different than Your eldest son Jesus was manifested, and taken up and adopted because he proved You Father that His meat was to do Thy Will, and for that very purpose He came into this world. Help us Father to also find our place in your family and we ask that you would positionally place us in Jesus Christ’s name we pray. Amen.
3Now, Paul said in 1 Corinthians 2 that no man could understand the things of God unless the spirit of God was in him. And so in order to be about our fathers business, it is impossible unless according to Ephesians 1:13 & 14 we have received the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
41 Corinthians 2: 11For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 12Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. 16For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
5Last night we spoke from paragraph number 20 of brother Branham’s sermon, “The Spoken Word is the Original Seed” and we took the subject from his reading of genesis 1:11, “every Seed After Its Kind”. Now, keep in mind that he is speaking of the spoken word being the original seed, and that each seed must bring forth after there own kind or nature.
6Look 63-0428 P:56 Pharaoh did not have this potential. He was offered it, but refused it. And when he refused it then he couldn't focus. No man, after he's turned down the Word of God, can ever focus himself into it, because you refused the Word that brings you into relationship with Christ. That's right. So...But Moses looked out of this window. He believed it. Why? Moses looked by faith. That's how Moses looked. Now, listen real close to this remark. Faith... Now, don't forget to get this now. Faith is designed to see what God wills and wants. There is no knowledge that can do that. Faith alone is designed and give to the human race to find out what the will of God is. And you take your faith that you've got and it don't focus with the Word, then leave it alone, you got the wrong faith. But when your God given faith focus you with the Word of God, you're directly in line and zeroed. Oh, my. God help us this hour, great hour that we live in. Faith, designed to see what God wants. How do you see it? Through the camera of His Word, His promise. This is a full revelation of Jesus Christ.
7Why cry speak 63-0714M P:65 Now, watch what takes place now. Moses saw this by a vision and Pharaoh said that, "This is great." God said, "It's an abomination." So God... Moses chose what God said. Now, notice, faith sees what God wants you to see. See? Faith sees what God sees, and reasoning and senses see what the world wants you to see. Notice, reasoning. "Why, it's only human sense; it's only--only reason it's this. This is... Well, ain't this just as good." See? That's just exactly when you use those senses which is contrary to the Word (See?), then that's what the world wants you to see. But faith don't look at that; faith looks what God said. See, see? You cast down reasons.
8We took this to Scripture and showed that Christ was so submissive to the Will of God that Isaiah called him the blind servant who was deaf to anything but the Voice of God, and blind to all but what God willed for him to see. And that made him the perfect servant.
10The NIV says, Who is blind like my servant, and deaf like the Messenger I send? Who is blind like the one that is committed to me, blind like the servant of the Lord? You have seen many things but have paid no attention, your ears are open, but you hear nothing. You Pleased the Lord for the sake or righteousness, to make His law great and glorious.
11Total deliverance 59-0712 pp. 55-56 55 Jesus was completely, totally man. He could cry like a man, He could eat like a man; He could become like a man. He was completely, totally man in His physical being. And in His Spirit, He was completely, totally God, so He made His flesh submissive to the Spirit that was IN Him. You see, He was tempted in all manners like we are. He was man, not an Angel. He was a man. He had desires and temptations just like we do. The Bible said He did. He was a man, not an Angel above temptation. Hebrews 1 said that He was... Hebrews 1:4 said He was made lower than the Angels. He was man, completely man, that God took a complete man to bring total deliverance; and He filled Him with His Spirit; the Holy Ghost was in Him without measure. And He was tempted like we were. And He was completely God. He proved it when He raised the dead, when He stopped nature, the roaring seas and the mighty winds. When He spoke to the trees, and so forth, they obeyed Him. He was God inside. And He could've been man, for He was Man, but He totally and completely delivered Himself as a Man into the hands of God for the service of God. And He is our example. 56 We are men and women. We're also Christians. If He's our example, let us completely deliver ourselves into the hands of the Holy Ghost, that we might be subjects of the Kingdom of God. He was totally man; He was totally God, but He surrendered His natural parts and His physical parts, and His Own thinking, and His Own doing, and His Own cares, and "I do only that which pleases the Father." There you are. Totally delivered from human beings... The priests come to Him, the great men, and said, "Rabbi So-and-so," and tried to bribe Him into their affiliations and denominations, but He was totally delivered because He trusted in God. Did not the Psalmist say, "Thou will deliver Him, for He has completely trusted in Me"? See?
12Jesus was so committed to his Father, that he did nothing, but what God showed him to do., he spoke nothing but what God commanded him to speak, he taught no doctrine but what doctrine God gave him to teach and he did not do his own will, but the will of Him that sent him.
13John 5: 19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
19John 7:16Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. 17If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.18He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.
21Hebrews chapter 10:5Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: 6In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. 7Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
22Now, this was taken from the book of Psalms 40: 6Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required. 7Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me, 8I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart. 9I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O LORD, thou knowest.10I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation. 11Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.
23Now, let’s get back to Hebrews 10:8Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; 9Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. 10By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. 11And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: 12But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; 13From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. 14For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. 15Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, 16This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; 17And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. 18Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin. 19Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; 21And having an high priest over the house of God; 22Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. 23Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) 24And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: 25Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. 26For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
24Now, how can you possibly forsake the assembling of the saints when you see the Life of God openly manifesting in flesh today. The problem is that the people have lost focus on what God is doing right now. Brother Branham said they miss God by always looking back and always looking forward but failing to recognize what God is doing now. And when it doesn’t come to their little group then it doesn’t com eat all according to their perception, but that doesn’t mean that it’s not happening right now.
25You see, what I believe to be taking place in this hour is that God is coming more and more into His church, and sons are becoming more and more in the image of their elder brother, which means they are coming more and more into the image of the Source of Life which is their Father. Now, if Jesus, our elder brother in a vast family of brethren came forth in the exact image o f His father, which is Hebrews 1:3, then if we are to be conformed to the image of the eldest son in a vast family of brethren, then we are to become the very image of our Father also.
26Let me just read these two scriptures for you. First of all let’s read Hebrews 1:3Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; 4Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. 5For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
28AMPLIFIED Hebrews 1:1-5, In Many separate revelations, - each of which set forth a portion of the truth, - and in different ways God spoke of old to our forefathers in and by the prophets. But in the last of these days, He has spoken to us in the person of a Son, Whom he appointed heir and lawful Owner of all things, also by, and through Whom, He created the worlds, and the reaches of space, and the ages of time, - that is, He made, produced, built, operated, and arranged them in order. He is the sole expression of the Glory of God, - the Light-being, the out-raying of the Divine, - and He is the perfect imprint and very image of God's nature, upholding, maintaining, guiding, and propelling the universe by His mighty word of power. When He had, by offering Himself, accomplished our cleansing of sins and riddance of guilt, he sat down at the right hand of the Divine Majesty on High. Taking a place and rank by which He, Himself, became as much superior to angels as the glorious Name which He has inherited is different from and more excellent than theirs. For which of the angels did God ever say, "You are My Son, today I have begotten you, And Again, I will be to Him a Father, and he will be to Me a Son."
29Now, brother Branham said, BELIEVE FROM THE HEART 57-0623 E-46 Jesus was a witness of God. He become so full of God, till him and God was One. God dwelt in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself, the very expression. A man's work declares his character. Christ was God's work. And Christ declared God's character, His feeling for the sick, His longing for saving of souls, till even He gave His own life. God's work... God's character was declared in Christ.
30Therefore, we see that He was the very expression of God. This first light that God brought forth was the Logos which was a part of God coming forth as an expression which God called His Son, and then through this expression, or expressed Word, or Manifested Word, God brought forth all of creation. ROMANS 11:36 For of him, and through him, and to him, [are] all things: to whom [be] glory for ever. Amen.
31Again brother Branham said from, SIRS WE WOULD SEE JESUS 57-1211 021 Now, Jesus was born for one purpose, that was for God to manifest Himself through that body. God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself. He was a body that was made physical, that men and women could see what He thought, and His expressions to the people in His gratefulness. And His attitude towards all mankind, He expressed it through Christ. Christ seemed to be a dual personality. He would speak sometimes and they'd scratch their heads; and they didn't understand Him. He'd speak one thing one time, look like, and something else another time. What it was, was Jesus speaking, and then Christ speaking. Jesus was the man. Christ was the God that was in Him. "Not Me that doeth the works: My Father that dwelleth in Me, He doeth the work." See? God will not share His glory with no one.
32You see, that is exactly what the Apostle John said in 1 John 1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; 2(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)3That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
33So the Life, which is God Life, that He’s talking about, came forth from the Father into His Son to become expressed in a visible being. Thus the invisible God could become visible through the body of His Son.
34John 5:26For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; And what is life without an expression of that Life? And if God expressed His very own Life through the body of His first born son, then what about the other sons?
35Then what about us? We are also sons born by the same Spirit into the same family, and given the same name as our Father. The same name given to the first born is given to the other sons as well, for the whole family of God is named Jesus.
38I love the way the Weymouth Translation reads Romans 8;29 For those whom He has known beforehand He has also pre-destined to bear the likeness of His Son, that He might be the Eldest in a vast family of brothers;
41Identification 63-0123 P:21 But when He seen that His creation had fallen, now His own loving character molded Himself into the Person of Christ. God's own character of love projected Himself in the man, Christ. As Paul, speaking here, "Thinking it not robbery, but making himself equal, equal to God," rather. See, His own character molded that kind of a Person. Oh, no one could ever do that but God.
42Christ is identified the same 64-0415 P:26 He was the manifestation of God. He was God in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself. He was expressing what the Father was in Himself. He said, "I do always that which pleases the Father. And I and the Father are One. The Father dwells in Me. When you see Me, you've seen the Father." In other words, He expressed God, the Spirit so much in Him, that He and the Father, it wasn't robbery for Him to be the same Person.
43Investments 63-0126 P:84 Jesus Christ was the expressed Image of God. He was what God through His power projected: a body which was called Son because He was a man, and He come from God. And He was so committed to God, till He didn't think it robbery that Him and God being the same Person. And they were, because God was the Word, and He was the Word. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God. And there's where God could take His Word without anything, any interruption. He was constantly doing that what the Father wanted done. And there the Word could work through Him there, till...?... Him and Father was One. That's what...And then He took that perfect Life and all of our sins, and placed it upon that perfect Life and He died that we renegades could die to ourselves and be born of above, and His Word could work through us the works of God.
44SHALOM 64-011 7 Jesus. "No Man has seen God at any time, but the only begotten of the Father has declared Him." See? In other words, God was identified. The Person of God was identified in the Body, the Lord Jesus Christ, so He was the expressed image of God. Or, God expressing Himself through an image, see, through an image, Man. God expressed Himself to us, and He was God. Not a third person or second person; He was the Person, God. He was God Himself, identifying Himself, so we could feel Him.
45AS I WAS WITH MOSES 51-0503 E-15 When Jesus of Nazareth... I believe that the Father was in Him, that all the great things that was the Father's was given unto His Son, all the great blessings and gifts; for He was just expressed image of the Father. And in Him dwelled all the richness of God dwelling in Him here, looking up. And I... He said, "I and My Father are One. My Father dwelleth in Me." Just as Jehovah... Just what Jehovah was, Jesus was. He was the expressed image of Him. He was God shaped out here, and all the powers of God formed into, and put in a human body. He said, "It's not Me that doeth the works; it's My Father that dwelleth in Me; He doeth the works."
46And God not only was identified in the body of His first born son, but in this hour he was identified in another son William Branham, and God was so expressed through his body that many thought he was God manifested in Flesh. And he was. He was so one with God that he thought it not robbery to be the same person as God.
48Hear ye Him 56-1215 P:39 Notice. Now, when this child become at a certain age, if it'd a been a correct child, had been zealous of the father's works, had been stable, always abounding in the works of the Lord, not tossed about with every wind and care, not one day a Presbyterian, the next day a Methodist, and the next day a Nazarene, the next day a Pilgrim Holiness, tossed about like a leaf on a troubled sea. If it was stable, its mind, no matter where it was at, set on Christ, his affections, working with one single heart, zealous of getting souls saved and not the church's fusses...Then in the Old Testament there come a day that this father brought his son out into the public as a witness, put a robe on him, and set him up upon a great place where all the city could see him. And they had the law of adoption. This father to his own son, who had been born in his own family, and now was of age, and was a child worthy to take his place, he adopted, or placed his own son into position. Any Bible reader knows that: the placing of a son. Then after that ceremony, that son had a right, his name was just as good on the--the check as his father's was. There's where the church should be today. "The things that I do shall you also; more than this shall you do, for I go to My Father."
49That’s where the church should be today, but they’re not. Why? Because of petty indifferences, and jealousies, just like in the days of Joseph and in the days of Paul, because of petty indifferences, they wouldn’t get behind what Paul was doing. Shame on them!
50Hear ye Him 56-0611 P:27-28 Now, this child was obedient, then there come a certain day when this child become matured. That's the day the Pentecostal church ought to be now. You Presbyterians ought to been that way a long time ago, Baptist and Methodists, but what's the matter? Then there's a certain day come, that when that father draw all the people around the regions that had come into the city, or some great place. And he took and set this son on a high place, and he put him on a beautiful robe. And they had a ceremony, and that father adopted that same son that had been born, he adopted it into his family. Or in other words, he placed him, positionally what he was in the family, and then he become an heir of everything the father had. In other words, his name on a checkbook was just as good as his daddy's. And that's where the church should be today; it should be to a place... And I say this to myself and to you: oh, what a pity it is when I walk around and see the sin, and the afflictions, and the sickness of the people and so forth. We ought to be to a place in faith in God, so separated that what we ask the Father in the Name of His Son, He'd grant it to us. That's right. 28 He took him into a place, and there he adopted him into his family, or as a special time when he set him apart. The church ought to be that way tonight, an Angel come to you, set you apart and tell you your position, where you're at. Not a bunch of men to lay hands on you, that's earthly. I mean God; God sets you apart in a place where you belong. God does it; your Tutor does it. He's present when it takes place. Now, notice, God was doing here just exactly like He asked man to do. His Son had been obedient, he had minded the father. He hadn't be gadding about in places and say, "You see who I am? My campaign's the biggest there is in the country. Yes, sir.” He'd been obedient. He'd been obedient to the father. He hadn't been gadding around the things of the world, associating with them; he'd been obedient. And God took witnesses of the earth, Peter, James, and John, brought down Elijah and a Moses from heaven, and stood them there, and adopted His own Son. He was glorified in the presence of these witnesses. And God came down and overshadowed Him. And the Bible said "His garments glistened like the sun." You see the robe, the glorification of Him? He put Him on a robe before the witness of heaven, 'fore the witnesses of earth.
51Hear ye Him 58-0301E P:48 Now, the son that was his son... In other words, he adopted him, by this may, he placed his son positionally. How did he do it? Then that son's name on the check was just as good as the father's, because he was in position. The father had vindicated, had placed that son in position. And I hope you're getting this. And then that son was an heir of what the father had. And we are, what God has, we're joint heirs with Christ, if we are sons of God, positionally placed in the Kingdom, holding our places. Now, God has many places He could place you. Some are apostles, some prophets, teachers, evangelists, pastors, so forth. God positionally places this son.
52And from his sermon, Where I think Pentecost failed 55-1111 P:56 Yeah, born again is a wonderful thing, but that's not all of it, brother. Remember, there was an adoption of that child. All of the Old Testament has to be carried out in the New; we know its types and shadows. You couldn't see some man, a figure with a hand hanging up like this, and then it wouldn't appear when the negative was made positive. It's got to be everything. Notice, as they went on then, this son... If the tutor kept bringing word that this son was a royal boy... He was mindful of his father's business. He was a gallant man. He knew how to handle business of his father. Oh, his father's heart swelled out 'cause he loved him. 57 And then when he become of age, at a certain age, he set a great day. And he called witnesses out into the street, and he took this boy and put a special robe on him, a beautiful robe, and set him out in the street, and had a ceremony of adoption. And the father, the very father of this boy, adopted the boy into his own family (Now, you know that by the Scripture, the placing of the son.), and adopted him into his own family. And therefore, from that day on that boy had a legal right to write his daddy's checks, or whatever the father had, he was heir to it. He was adopted. He was just equal, had the authority over all of his father's goods. He was no longer a tutor, but he was... or cared by a tutor, he was absolutely in possession. And that's where the church has gone now. When you got back there and was born again, you think that settles it. You went off at ease. Now, you're finding yourself with cramps, not enough manna, backsliding from one meeting to another. What it is, is God has watched the conduct of His Church. 58 Look. God did the same thing to His own Son. He taken three for a witness. The Bible said, "Three is a witness." And He took Peter, James, and John (love, hope, and charity) and taken them up on a high exceeding mountain, great high mountain. And there Jesus was transfigured before them, and His garments shined like the sun. And a voice spoke and said, "This is My beloved Son; hear ye Him." God adopting His Own Son, shined Him out in a glorified, transfigured condition, and proved before witnesses, "This is My beloved Son, hear ye Him." No wonder Jesus could say "All the power in heavens and earth is given unto My hands." 59 Now, the reason the church is not progressing, brother, you skipped about from place to place, here and there, and daddling in the world, and around this way, and fussing about your organizations and your denominations, whether you're this, that, or the others. Whether you're oneness, twoness, threeness, or fiveness; or whether you been baptized face forward, backwards; oh, and all kinds of things, and fussing, and drawing barriers, and things, and that's the reason the church is not going on. It's true.If you'd ever break down your walls, let this one be this, and that one be that. Whatever you are that doesn't matter. But when you can put your hands in your brother's hands and call him your brother... And we're working for one cause, that's the Kingdom of God. 60 If it ever gets to a place that I couldn't put my arm around any brother that's working for the Kingdom of God, and recognize him as my brother, I feel I'm backslid. Amen. Sure. I'd be a scared to stand on the platform and face evil spirits, to know that I had envy in my heart against any brother, no matter who he is, that's trying to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ or live a Christian life. If we disagree a million miles upon theology, if he loves the Lord Jesus, he's my brother, and it's my sister. And we've drawn those lines. "And if you can't love your brother who you have seen, how can you love God Who you have never seen?" And brother, when love goes out, God goes with it, for God is love. And you can never get anywhere without Divine love. And as you love one another, you love God. 61Listen. I've got a little old fat boy up at home tonight, five months old. You all remember the prophecy about him. The world all laughed at me and said, "Uh-huh. I thought you was going to have a Joseph." He come. God said he was coming; he got here. I got a boy here nineteen years old, a little girl out here four, and one eight. You could say anything about me and it'd be all right. I wouldn't care what you call me, but don't talk about my children. Don't be good to me, be good to them. And God feels the same way. These are His children. We've got to be good to one another. We've got to be honest with one another. How can people be dishonest with each other, and then profess to be Christians? It's beyond my thoughts how you can be dishonest with your brother? How you can falsify something or another, and cut a brother off just because he doesn't agree with you on something? Oh, brother, I tell you...
53God's power to transform 65-0911 P:104 Don't stumble at that word, "predestination." I know you do. But, listen, It's not my word. It's one of God's Words. You want to read it, read Ephesians 1:5, which, "He has predestinated us to the adoptions of sons through Jesus Christ." See? Just let me just break it just a minute, in just a minute to break this out of your mind. Look. Just as you were in your father at the beginning, a germ seed... Did you know that, every one of you? You were in your great-great-great-grandfather also, did you know that? Read the Book of Hebrews, where that we find that Levi paid tithes when he was in the loins of Abraham, four generations behind him. When Abraham paid tithes to Melchisedec, it was accounted to his great-great-grandson down below him, and he was then in the loins of Abraham. There you are. See?
54Believe From The Heart 57-0623 E-46 Jesus was a witness of God.
55Therefore, we see that He was the very expression of God. This first light that God brought forth was the Logos which was a part of God coming forth into an expression which God called His Son, and then through this expression, or expressed Word, or Manifested Word, God brought forth all of creation. ROMANS 11:36 For of him, and through him, and to him, [are] all things: to whom [be] glory for ever. Amen.
56Sirs We Would See Jesus 57-1211 021 Now, Jesus was born for one purpose, that was for God to manifest Himself through that body.
57Harvest Time 641212 87 034 Jesus said, "That they might be one, Father, as You and I are one." Not for some man to be over something, it never will work; one denomination wants to take over the other, and one man over the other. But that you might be one with God, like Christ and God was one; that's what the prayer is. That... He was the Word, and Jesus prayed that we might be the Word, reflecting Him. That's His prayer to be answered. See how Satan scruples it up in the carnal mind? But that wasn't Jesus' prayer, at all, that we might all congregate together and all have a certain creed and so forth. Every time they do it, they go further and further from God. He wants us to be one with God, and God is the Word. Each individual in his heart must be that one with God
58In JOHN 17:11 ¶ And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. And how is it that we might be One even as which means in the same manner as Jesus and His Father were One? Jesus said, JOHN 17:14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Jesus tells us we become One with God through the same Word that He became One With God. JOHN 17:20 ¶ Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; 21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, [art] in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. 22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
59Therefore it is very apparent that we are one by receiving the same Word which bring us into the same Glory or same mind as the Father. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
60Blasphemous names 62-1104M pp. 57-65 57 Do you remember over in the Book of Matthew the 17th chapter, the 1st to the 5th verse, Jesus on Mount Transfiguration? You've heard me--"Hear Ye Him," that sermon I just, here about a year ago, preached that become so popular, "Hear Ye Him." The placing of a son in Ephesians 1:5 also: "God has predestinated us unto adoption of sons." See, a family... When a son is born into it, it's a son then. But that son had tutors to raise it. And if that son never did come to be the right kind of a son, he never become heir. But if he was the right son, and the son that would obey his father, then that son was adopted or placed positionally. He become heir of what the father had. And that's what God was doing on Mount Transfiguration, when He took His own Son, after He'd been proven to be the right Son (See?), and had stood all temptations. He took Him up on Mount Transfiguration and overshadowed Him. 58 You know, in the Old Testament they took a son, dressed him in a nice pretty garment, and set him out before the public. And they had a ceremony of placing, or we call it adopting. In Galatians there. I kind of think Paul refers to it as adopting sons. Now, by placing a son... Ministers will understand and spiritual Bible readers, a-placing this son... In other words, the son was a son when he was born. There's where our Pentecostal people made their mistake. Being born into the family by the Holy Ghost (That's right.), but then we must be the right kind of children, tutored by the right tutors See? 59 Now, if a man back in the old age thought of his son, and he wanted him to be a right kind of a son, he got the best tutor he could find, the best teacher; 'cause he wanted his son to come up to be like his daddy. See? So he got the right tutor. Now, if a man on earth would think of the best tutor, how about God our Father? Now, He never got bishops, and cardinals, and priests; He got the Holy Ghost to be our Tutor. And the Holy Spirit is our Teacher. And He's in the Church, and He takes message to the Father. And then, what if the tutor come up and said, "Well, father..." Now, He ain't going to get some kind of a tutor that wants a straw in his hat, you know, a feather, we call it; say, "Oh, if I tell the father something about... That little boy is a renegade anyhow, but if I tell the father, the father might give me a raise." That ain't the right kind of a tutor. A right kind of a tutor's honest, tell the truth. And the Holy Ghost tells the truth when He comes before God, to us. Yeah. 60 So He comes up. What do you think? He'd blush today to say, "Your daughters are all cutting their hair, and You told them not to. Your sons are so organize-minded they just simply can't see one to the other, and that's... And they're adopting this for this and this for that." How He must blush. But how that Tutor would love to come and say, "Oh, my. That son's a real son. He's just like the Father." Oh, how He'd love to say that. See? Then the Father swells out in pride and say, "This is My son." That's exactly what God's did on Mount Transfiguration. You notice there appeared Moses and Elijah. And Peter, all excited, the supernatural was done, the... Peter got excited; he said, "Let's build three tabernacles: one for You, and one for Moses, and for Elias." While he was yet speaking God shut him up. He said, "This is My beloved Son in whom I am well pleased. Hear ye Him." See? God put Himself in the background and, "This is My Son." 61 Moses represented the law. The prophets represented His justice. We could not live by His law. We could not live by His justice. I don't ask justice; I want mercy, not justice. I can't keep His law, and I can't meet His justice; but I need His mercy. And God said the law and justice has been met in Him. "He's My beloved Son. Hear ye Him. That's Him; that's the One.” Now, in the Old Testament when that son was adopted or placed into the family, his name was just as good on the check as his daddy's was. Yes, sir. They didn't have a... They had a ring in them days, a--a sign, signet; and they'd spit on it [Brother Branham makes a spitting sound and hits the pulpit with his fist--Ed.], place it. That was a signet. That was just a... He wore his daddy's ring, his signet; and that was just as good as his daddy's. Now, when Jesus had been obedient, Jesus to God, God placed Him positionally: "This is Him." Now, when the member is born by the Holy Ghost into the family of God and has proven to have these virtues in him, that God can see virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, brotherly kindness, and godliness in him, then God seals him or places him. And there, that's when you see the sons and daughters of God. 62 Then Ephesians 4:30 says, Grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed until the day of your redemption. Now, some of you Baptists that wants to go on eternal security, now, if you'll come to that stage, I'll stand with you it's eternal security, if you'll come to that place. But just to say, anybody says, "I'll belong--joined the Baptist church"; "I'm a Presbyterian"; "I got eternal security"; that's wrong. Your own life proves you haven't got it, Until this is there and God has adopted you and sealed you by the Holy Ghost into His kingdom... Then there's no getting out of it. You are eternally secure. "Believe--Grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby all you and your godly virtues are sealed until the day of redemption." 63 I believe there is a Bride that's predestinated. I believe God said He would have a Church without spot or wrinkle. I believe in predestination, that the Bride is predestinated; She's got to be there. I hope I'm with Her. That's... See? I'm with Her. Now, it's up to me to work out my own salvation with God until these things are approved of God and then sealed into the Kingdom of God. There's the Holy Spirit. There's the genuine works of God. It's sealed until the day of redemption. That was her dream. I thought it was beautiful. 64 Now, therefore, when She does that, when that Church comes to this place, or the individual... The Church is going to be there. Let me say it real good so you get it. The Church is predestinated to be there. I want to be with It, but the only way I'll be with It, is to be part of It. How do I become part of It? By being in It. How do I get in It? By baptism, by one Spirit. I Corinthians 12: "By one Spirit we are all baptized into one Body," one Body, baptized into it. 65 But you can't stick these little things, say, "I spoke with tongues. I got It." You go out here, and angry, and swear, and carry on (See?); that's putting peacock feathers in a--the jaybird. See? You can't do it. Your own life proves that it's not. But when these things are operating in you by God, then you're sealed. Then there's no put-on about it. You're just yourself. That's when visions, perfect Holy Spirit works of God, everything is made manifest. Because why? You and Christ become one (I hope that's understood.); you and Christ become one. I had something else I had wrote down here I wanted to think of. Brings us to the place of Life, then you become--have Eternal Life.
61Hidden life 55-1006A P:22 Now, after this child become of age... Now, he's still a child. But if the child was reckless, and never paid any attention, and wasn't so interested in the Father's work, that child never become adopted to that family. But if he was a correct child, a good child, and loved the work of his father, and was interested, and tried to do all he could to progress his father's work, then the tutor brought that word to the father, and there was what's called the placing of the son or as Paul gives it in--over in Galatians, "the adoption." That we was predestinated into the adoption of children by Jesus Christ, the adoption. Now, the same son that was born into a family could be adopted into the same family, or placed in the same family, or give a position in the family that he was born into. And I do believe that that is the work of the Holy Spirit today among the church, is trying to place in the church positionally apostles, teachers, prophets, and so forth, as... And we've seen many false alarms and so forth moving amongst the people, which only indicated that the real genuine adoption was at hand. I believe it. God has to place into the church. That's the business of God, not of man. P:23 Now, when this boy became of age, and when he was ready then for his adoption, and he had proved by--the tutor had told the Father that this boy was eligible for adoption, he was taken out into a public place, and there he was robed with a--a robe (a honor robe, perhaps purple, or some color of royalty), and was set up, and the whole city, all the people around about, seen the Father adopt his own son into the family. And then when he was adopted into the family, already a son, already a child, already a heir of grace, but placed in the family... You get it. Now, when he was placed in the family and given his position, then that boy's name on a check was just as good as his father's name on the check. Now, I believe that that is the time that the church has arrived at today, that the next great move in the church is for God, after we've seen the false alarms... But now, God will place in His church correctly, apostles, prophets, teachers, evangelists, not man-made seminary boughten, but God will place into the church. Not theology run-overs and overnights, but God will place in the church, as God has chosen, as the Holy Ghost has tutored this church and raised it up. And in there God will adopt into His--into the position His sons. They're already His sons, but whether they are worthy of the position that He has for them.
62Adoption or placing 60-0522E P:32 Notice, this Melchisedec, as soon as He met Abraham coming from the slaughter of the kings... The mystery of God now being made known, Who was He? Nobody... They can't find any history of Him, because He didn't have any father; He didn't have any mother; He never had any time He began; He never had any time He'd ever die; so ever Who He was is still alive. He never did have a beginning, so He couldn't have been nobody else but El, Elah, Elohim; self-existent, self-abiding, Almighty God. Jesus had a Father; Jesus had a Mother; Jesus had a beginning of days; Jesus had an ending of earthly life. But this Man had neither father nor mother (Amen.), no father nor mother. Jesus had both Father and Mother. This Man had neither father nor mother. Amen. And what did He do? After the battle was over, after Abraham had took his position...After the church takes its position, we're called to the adoption of sons by the Holy Spirit. And when each man takes his position, what God has called him to do, and stand to the end of the road, going after the lost...
63What Holy Ghost was given for 59-1217 P:26 And then, when this boy got to a certain age (say he was matured), if that boy was just a renegade, no good, didn't care for the father's business, all he thought about was flirting and running with the women, or drinking, or gambling, or horse racing, that boy would always be a son, but he was never placed in position to have heir to all his father had. But if he was a good boy, and he was about the father's business, and he proved to be the right child, then they had a ceremony. They took the boy out into the street and put a white robe on him. And they set him up on a scaffold so all the city could see. They made a feast and a jubilee. And the father then had the ceremony of adoption. He adopted his own son into his own business, and then the son was coequal with his father. In other words, if it'd been today, the son's name on the check was just as good as the daddy's.
