1Sunday we read from paragraph 160 but I had to hold off on going into what brother Branham said here because we ran out of time. Therefore, as promised we will look at paragraph 160 tonight.

2Now, Branham says in paragraph 160 Know that it is the Presence of the living God. Proves that God has raised Him up according to His promised Word. "A little while and the world won't see Me no more (Jericho, Egypt), they won't see Me no more. Yet ye shall see Me, for I ('I' the personal pronoun is always referred to. See?), I'll be with you. I am the Token. My resurrection is the Token. The works that I do will identify you--will identify Me in you."

3Now, this of course speaks of John 14:12, and I do not know how anyone could think that John 14:12 is only for William Branham after a statement like this.

4Notice that William Branham just got done telling us that the Token is Christ, and it is the resurrected Life of Christ, and now he states, that the identification of that resurrected Life of Christ living in you will be identified by "the works that I do," which we know is what Jesus said in John 14:12.

5Now, what brother Branham is peaking of here is identification of Seed, and Seed Life. And John 14:12 is just the identification that the very seed Life that was in the original Seed will be present in anyone who possesses that same seed life in them. And if you do not understand seed life then it is about time that you go bak and read Genesis 1:11, which tells us that "Every seed will produce according to it's kind or nature."

6I do not understand why is so difficult to see this. We know that brother Branham quotes John 14:12 many hundreds and hundreds of times and he identifies it with the believer. We know that he taught us that you are not a believer unless you are born again of the Spirit of God. That is what makes you a believer. Up until you are born again, and filled with the Spirit of God, you are believing unto, but you are not yet a believer.

7Now, we know that every seed is known by it's identifiable characteristics. That is why Jesus could speak to the Pharisees, many of whom were serpent seed.

8John 8:38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father. 39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. (Notice they were claiming Abraham as their Father, but Jesus rebukes them and says,) Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham. 40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.

9Now, notice, he says, now ye seek to kill me,... this did not Abraham....
So Jesus is pointing out that their testimony does not measure up to their actions, nor their life. because your life is an indicator of what seed you are.

10Now, notice this next interchange of words. Jesus says, 41 Ye do the deeds of your father. In other words, just look at what your life is producing and that will tell you whose seed you are. Then they caught his drift and they replied, Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; (we are not serpent seed, because after all Eve committed fornication with the serpent before she consummated her marriage with Adam. So they knew Jessu was saying they were of their Father the devil. And they continue...) "we have one Father, even God."

11But Jesus disagreed with them, based on their life, and their actions to hearing the truth.

1242 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. 43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

13Now, here Jesus mentions what looks like two things that give away who their real father is, but they are actually one thing expressed two ways.

141) They cannot understand the Word of God that He was telling them.
2) They cannot even hear the Words he is telling them.

15And we find in Matthew 13 more precision of what it means to hear.

16Matthew 13:13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. 14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: 15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

17Now, Jesus is quoting the prophet Isaiah without mentioning his name here. But if you know your Bible like you ought to know it, then you would recognize where Jesus is quoting from Isaiah 6:9-10 "And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. 10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed."

18Now, let's get back to Jesus discourse with the Pharisees. 44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. (Notice, there is your Genesis 1:11 argument, every seed after its kind.) He was a murderer from the beginning, (Notice who was the first murderer? Cain...) and abode not in the truth, ...

19Notice, Jesus gives them a second attribute to identify their source, when he says, , Their lineage "abode not in truth", because there is no truth is in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And we know that Satan, called the devil, was cast out of heaven for telling the big Lie there, and was sent to earth, and indwelt the serpent who was the father of Cain, who lied to eve by inserting one word to change the meaning of what God had said to Adam. He added, "not" thou shalt "not" surely die.

20Revelation 12 tells us the story of Satan being cast out of heaven for telling the lie that took one third of the angels with him.

21Revelations 12:3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. 4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

22So we see that it was by his tail that he drew the third part of the angels in a rebellion against God the Word. and a Word prophet told us it was not the tail like he had a long tail, but actually it was the tale that he told, in other words, a lie.

23Isaiah 9:15 The ancient and honourable, he is the head; and the prophet that teacheth lies, he is the tail. So Satan was a lying prophet up there in heaven. And of course a prophet is a preacher. So then we see in Revelation 12 he is cast down to earth for the lie that he told. and he comes to earth, indwells the serpent who was a creature closest to man, and used his lying tongue to persuade the woman to lay with him.

24Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. (that means he was smarter, wiser, and more cunning) And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? (Notice he begins quoting what God told Adam, so he goes right to the word of God to pervert it, and that is what all false prophets and preachers do, they use God's own word and then they throw the curve ball.) 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. (Notice now, he gets her to quote the scripture first, and then he takes the Word that she quotes and begins to add a twist to it. So far they are discussing the Word of God, and it seems very harmless at this point, but watch what the characteristics of Satan that is in him does... because these characteristics is important to know and earmark because you will see them all throughout Scripture...) 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

25Notice, he quotes her back but adds his own thought to it, and then he adds his reasoning why he added to what God had said, as if that reasoning changes what was said. Now, notice his reasoning...

5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

26Now, watch the woman's response to Satan's reasoning, for the woman types the church, and as a type of the church, she always tries to go to the Word first, but then ends up falling away from the true meaning of the Word because they fall for the reasoning given them by false preachers that takes away from the true meaning of the Word.

6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

27Now, let me help you to understand what took place here because we all believe in the serpent seed doctrine, but why then did God use symbolism in the writing of this by Moses who Wrote the first five books of the Bible.

28Notice first let's see what the woman said concerning the word as she quoted it. 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

29The symbolism of a tree throughout Scriptures speaks of man. Look Psalm 1: The righteous are likened unto trees. Israel is likened to an Olive tree. Jesus is the main vine we are branches. When Jesus healed the blind man he took mud and dabbed it into the mans eyes and he saw men like trees... on and on we could go with this.

The word eat also is a euphemism, which speaks of taking into oneself and becoming one with, Ie: The prophet ate the scroll and became one with it. "Taste (Eat) and see that the Lord is good". Jesus said "He that eateth my body and drinketh my blood", etc. It is used throughout the new and old testament showing an act of taking into oneself that thing presented and the two becoming one. Ie: the scroll and the prophet, Jesus the Word and us.

But there is an even more telling understanding from the word "touch" that the woman used in telling the serpent what she must not do. Genesis 3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

The word touch was translated from the Hebrew Word Naga' a primitive root; properly, to touch, i.e. lay the hand upon (for any purpose; euphem., to lie with a woman);

Notice the euphemism is to lie with a woman. It gets no simpler than that. God said do not lay with her and do not know her, do not intimately experience her.

And so we see the results of this carnal act in the very next verse.

307 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

31As brother Branham said, if they knew they were naked from eating some fruit or apple, then let's pass the apples because Laodicea is blind and naked and doesn't even know it.

328 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. 9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. 11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? 12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. 13 And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.

33Just for your information but the Hebrew word here for beguiled is nasha' and it means to seduce. And the word seduce means to to persuade or induce to have sexual intercourse.

3414 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: 15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

35Notice that the curse was upon the seed of the serpent. His lineage or offspring.

3616 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

37Now, if it was just an apple she ate why the curse upon her conception and the curse upon her seed and the serpents seed.

38Now, let's get back to what Jesus is telling the Pharisees in John 8:45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. 46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? 47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

39From his sermon, Why cry speak 59-1004E P:31 brother Branham said, The Bible said also that "God anointed Jesus Christ with the Holy Ghost, that He went about doing good, healing the sick." That was the sign that He was what He claimed to be. That's the way God sends it. That's the way it's supposed to come in the last day. And the Holy Spirit that comes in the last days isn't to draw us to a creed, isn't to draw us to a church; It's to draw us to God; and supernatural signs is to follow that Holy Spirit.

40Man that can turn on light 63-1229M P:116 Oh, it takes Christ's Eternal Life to bring the Word of Life to vindication, made flesh. Oh, my goodness. Takes the Word, takes the Holy Ghost to operate the Word of God. When Jesus said, "Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature..." Now look, Mark 16, His last commission "all the world--all the world..." It never has got there yet. See? "... all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature. He that believeth (in all the world) and is baptized shall be saved; he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe. (They'll shake hands with the... No. They'll be good church members? No.) In My Name they shall cast out devils. They shall speak with new tongues. They shall take up serpents, or drink deadly things, it won't harm them. If they lay their hands on the sick, they shall recover." Oh, my. How far? Every creature. How much? All the world till He comes again. These signs shall... "He that believeth on Me, the works that I do, shall he do also. Even greater then this will he do, for I go to My Father." Oh, how we can walk away from that is more than I can say.

41Five identifications 60-0911E P:70 The last commission, "Go into all the world, preach the Gospel. He that believeth and is baptized..." Let me quote it the way it should be, the way it's broke down. "Go ye into all the world and to every nation and demonstrate the power of the Holy Ghost. He that believeth on this and is baptized shall be saved; he that denies it will be damned. These signs will follow them that believe: they'll lay hands on the sick, they shall recover; they'll cast out devils; they'll speak with new tongues. This will be the signs that follows." The last verse said, "And they returned. The Lord working with them, confirming His Word with signs following." That's the way the first church was.

42Super sign 62-0708 P:58 What did Jesus say? "Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature." How far? All the world. How many? Every creature, "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; he that believeth not shall be damned, and (a conjunction) these signs shall follow them that believe," in all the world, and every creation, every creature. I can show you where God put gifts and power in the church. I want somebody to put your finger on a Scripture and show me where He took it out, where He took it back from the church. It's a super sign to the believer, that we've passed from death unto Life, because we feel the Holy Ghost, and see It working on our lives, and changing us from what we were to what we are now. Amen. He arose from the dead. Thanks be to God.

43Confirmation of the commission 62-0122 P:29 Now, and if the Holy Spirit, which is God's Word, or the power of God's Word, comes in with God's Word, it'll make God's Word display Itself. "Go ye into all the world and demonstrate the Gospel to every creature. (See?) He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe." What a beautiful setting that is. If we would just go deep now and listen, that was the credentials that was to hang onto every man that went forth preaching the Gospel. And no man has a right to preach the Gospel without the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Jesus would not let Peter, James, John, any of the rest of them, preach the Gospel until they waited in the city of Jerusalem until the Holy Ghost had filled them, because it's the Holy Ghost that makes the Word of God go into action. See?

44What Holy Ghost was given for 59-1217 P:87 You cannot go to judgment. "He that heareth My words and believeth (No man can believe until he's got the Holy Ghost.)--and believeth on Him that sent Me (when the Holy Ghost has testified of His resurrection) hath Eternal Life, and shall never come into judgment, but has passed from death unto Life."

45Now, the trouble is that when people read John 14:12 which speaks of the believer doing the same works Jesus did, they do not understand that unless you have the same Spirit in you that Jesus did, you are not even a believer yet. And if you do have the same Spirit then you have to have the same nature. And if his nature was supernatural then your nature will be that as well.

46Why cry speak 59-1004E P:29 Jesus said, "The works that I do, he that believeth on Me..." Saint John 14:12, "He that believeth on Me the works that I do shall he do also. He that believeth on Me..." No man can believe Jesus Christ to be the Son of God until he's received the Holy Ghost. You're only taking it by faith and accepting it. You can't say that it is. You can say, "I believe it is." But no man can call Jesus the Christ until the Holy Ghost is in him. The Bible said so. The Holy Spirit has to come in first, then It gives a witness. You know yourself that Jesus is the Christ because He lives in you.

47Return and Jubilee 62-1122 P:39 Before I could act as a human, before I could walk like a human, before I could talk like a human, I have to be born a human. How would a knot on a tree know how I acted? How could he ever say, "I don't act like that." The only way he could be that would be to be born like me. That's the way organization is dead, drawed people away, because it went after a creed. But in order to be a son of God you've got to be borned of the Spirit of God, then you become Christ-like and do the works of Christ;

48Questions and answers COD 59-0628E P:27 Now, the Scripture says that no man can say Jesus is the Christ only by the Holy Ghost. So you cannot believe that Jesus is the Christ until you have received the baptism of the Holy Ghost. You're only testifying or saying what the Scripture says, saying what the pastor says, saying what mother says, or some good preacher says. But you don't know it yourself until He has witnessed His resurrection to you. And no man can call Jesus the Christ until by the Holy Ghost.

49Jesus Christ the same 63-0604 P:66 That's how He identified himself with the Jews. That's how He identified Himself with the Samaritans. Now, that was the end of their time. Now, the Gentiles has had two thousand years of teaching, like they had thousands of years of teaching. But if the Gentiles don't get the same thing that they got, then He's a respect of persons. So how would we know Him today? When He stood with us, and in us, and worked through us, and proved that this Spirit, that we call the baptism of the Holy Ghost, is Jesus Christ inpersifying Himself in the form of Spirit in the human being, doing the same... He said in St. John the 14th chapter and the 12th verse, "He that believeth (not make-believeth), but he that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also." Isn't that true?

50Resurrection the 53-1205 P:103 I'm not responsible for nothing else but to say what God says. Now, you don't receive the Holy Ghost when you believe. You receive the Holy Ghost after you believe. You receive It after you believe. And It's a gift of God. No faith, no nothing else would give It to you. You can't just imagine you got It; you can't just accept It by faith. It's absolutely a work of God that comes down into the heart and makes known the Presence of Jesus Christ. And when you receive the Holy Ghost, then you believe in all kinds of miracles and signs. And not only do you believe it, but you practice them. "These signs shall follow them that believe. Repent, every one of you and be baptized. Go unto all the world; preach the Gospel. He that believes and is baptized shall be saved. He that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe: In My Name they'll cast out devils, speak with new tongues, take up serpents, drink deadly things, lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." That is a sign of the believer.

51From his sermon, God identified by His Characteristics p:31 "John 14:12, "He that believeth," Jesus said, "on Me, the works that I do shall he do also." Now, look, "He that believeth on Me (a true believer), the works that I do shall he do also." Notice. In other words, like this, "He that believeth on Me, shall be identified by My characteristic, the works." Now, that's what He did. He said, "If I don't do the Father's works, then don't believe Me." And the Father spoke to the prophets, and that was their characteristic, identification. So was it with Jesus. And promised it "to him that believeth, My characteristics shall do in him just as it did in Me."

52God identified by characteristics 64-0311 P:22 John 14:12, "He that believeth," Jesus said, "on Me, the works that I do shall he do also." Now, look, "He that believeth on Me (a true believer), the works that I do shall he do also." Notice. In other words, like this, "He that believeth on Me, shall be identified by My characteristic, the works."

53Letting off the pressure 62-0609E P:64 If I tell you the Spirit of Christ is in me, then I should do the works of Christ, live the kind of Life that He lived, a sacrificed Life for the people. That is right.

54God's gifts always find place 63-1222 P:36 Notice now, we find that if He identified... The works that He did identified that He was Deity, showed that He was. For He said, "If I do not the works of My Father, then don't believe Me." And could not the Christian say today, "If I do not the works of my Saviour, believe me not"? See? "As the Father sent Me, so send I you." And if you did the works, creation works of the Father that sent Him, then it's a creation... The Christ the Creator that sends us, does the works of Christ the Creator. See? "As the Father sent Me, so send I you. And if I do not the works of My Father, believe me not." Then the Christian today has got to do the Life that Christ did or we have a right to say, "It's not so."

55Unchangeable God 62-0120 P:85 If we're baptized by the Holy Ghost into the body, then we become the body of Christ. Then we're resurrected with Him. When He raised up, we raised up also in the resurrection with Him; because He is the Head, and the Head and the body's together. Then today Christ is in the church in you. And His works that He once did (St. John 14:12), "He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also." That's right. Hebrews 13:8: "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever." See there? People don't expect it to be that way. They expect us to be a bunch of illiterate people, don't even know what they're talking about. They believe it to be some bunch of dummies. But we might be, in the sense that they're talking about. But we accepted the Holy Ghost the way God poured It out, and got the same results that they had back there, so it proves that it. He's the unchangeable God. We get the same results. Amen.

56In Br. Branham's sermon, Spiritual Amnesia-64-0411 he said, "You can't forget it and be a Christian. You must be identified with it. You must be identified with St. John the 14th chapter, the 12th verse, "He that believeth with Me, the works that I do shall he do also." Don't forget it. If you do, then you've got spiritual amnesia. You've forgotten who you are. You've forgotten what your testimony means.

57Notice he said you must be identified with it or you have spiritual amnesia, and the word "Identified" means "to cause to be", or "become identical".

58B: "to conceive as united in spirit, outlook, or principle)": "to be or become the same".
Therefore it means more than to just agree with John14:12, it means you must become John 14:12 in your own life.

59Brother Branham makes it clear that John 14:12 is for every believer as we see in 59-0628E - "Questions And Answers" 172 88b. Brother Branham,... Can any man do the works of Christ unless he was Christ? That's what it is, "Unless he was Christ?" Sure. Let's take Saint John, just a minute. Saint John the 14th chapter and I want you to look at this, now, if you can catch it right quick, Saint John 14:12, I believe it is. We'll get it right quick, and look what Jesus said about this. All right, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He," "whoever it is", "He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also." Any man, The man himself can't be Christ, but the works of Christ will follow every believer. See? He'll do the works of Christ in any man. "He that believeth in Me, the works that I do, he shall do." Not, "I shall do," "he shall do, he shall," not, "I." "But he believes in Me and has confessed his faith in Me and died out to himself and My Spirit dwells in him and he becomes a part of Me." Now that don't make him Christ. It makes him part of Christ with the rest of the Church. All right. He is not Christ, because that would be anti-Christ, you see. He would be taking away from Christ. But he can be, do the works of Christ, any believer. All right.

60Also from his sermon, Mark of the beast 61-0217 P:38 William Branham said, When God sends something and you fail to walk in it, then you're out; that's all. You either do or you don't. That's the way it was. All that didn't get in the ark, drowned, and that was all there was to it, no matter who they was. That's the same thing, all that's not in Christ today will perish without Christ. It's true. So you can't say, "I'm a Methodist, or Baptist, or Pentecostal, or anything else; you've got to be of Christ. And if you're of Christ, you do the works of Christ. That bears record and proves that it is. It's just as clear as the Scripture, I know how to say it. That's just as plain as the nose on this big face, or big nose on this face of mine, rather. That's right.

61In his sermon Christ is the Mystery of God Revealed William Branham speaks of John 14:12 more than 7 times. He uses terms like "every person", and "anybody" to define the word "he" in John 14:12.

62Christ is the Mystery - 63-0728-138 "They said, "We received the Holy Ghost when we believed." The Bible said, "Have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed?" There's the difference. See? That's right. See? And they say, "We're the Catholic church. We started early; we did this." The Methodist say, "We are based upon the Bible." Jesus said, "These signs shall follow them that believe." Now, where's it at? Uh-huh, see, right. "The works that I do shall you do also," every creature, every person that believes in Him. Now, where's it at? That's His Words. "Heavens and earths will pass away, but My Word shall never fail." Now, where's it at? See? Oh, it just shows... What is it? It's a hybrid condition.

63Notice again he says "every person" and after he mentions John 14:12 he then asks the question, "where's it at". It supposed to be in the church, so "where is it at?" Therefore, it is supposed to be in the church, so where is it at, and what has prevented it from manifesting openly as he longed to see it.

64Christ is the Mystery - 63-0728 - 68 St. John 14:12, He said, "He (he, anybody)--he that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also." "Well, that was for another age." There you got your picture wrong again. Notice his explanation for the word "he" in "he that believeth." is anybody.

651963-0728 Christ is the Mystery (86-1) And then the Word moves on down into the Body from the Head. What is it? This same word. Nothing can be added or taken from It. So that same Word moves from the Head as the day comes close, down into the Body, down into the Body vindicating that they are One. They're Husband and Wife. They're flesh of His flesh, Word of His Word, Life of His Life, Spirit of His Spirit. See? Amen. How do you know it? Bears the same record, same fruit, same Word (See?), manifests Christ: same Life, same God, same Spirit, same Word, same Book (Amen!), same signs, "Things that I do shall you also." Oh hallelujah. My...

66From His sermon, We would see Jesus 57-0226 P:21 William Branham tells us the reason why John 14:12 is for all, and what purpose it is for. "But now, while He's here working with His Church in the form of the Spirit... Then if His Spirit is with us, He will act just exactly like He act when He was here on earth. It'll make you act the same way, because it's not your spirit anymore; it's His Spirit in you, Christ's Spirit in you. "The things that I do... He that believeth on Me (Saint John 14:12.), the works that I do, shall ye do also." See? We'll do the same works, think the same thoughts, live the same type of life. If the Spirit of God is in you, it makes you live like Christ, Christ-like. Then you become a written epistle, read of all men, Christ in you, reflecting His Light out of you, as God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, and reflecting God from His own body.

67Church Age Book Chapter 2 - The Patmos Vision P:32 But if the vine ever brings forth another branch of itself, that branch will be exactly like the vine itself. It will be the same kind of a branch that was brought forth at Pentecost. It will speak in tongues, prophesy, and have the power and signs of the resurrected Jesus Christ in it. Why? Because it's thriving on the natural resources of the vine itself. You see, it wasn't grafted into the vine; it was BORN in the vine. When those other branches were grafted in, all they could do was bear their own fruit for they were not born of that vine. They don't know about that original life and original fruit. They cannot know for they were not born of it. But if they had been born of it, that same life that was in the original stem (Jesus) would have come through THEM and manifested through THEM John 14:12, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto My Father."

68Identification 63-0123 P:51 We've got to take the entire full Gospel. We must, and now, being that we have identified ourselves as full Gospel people, let's mold our character. We're invited to be molded in His Image, that we might reflect His Presence. "And the works that I do, shall you do also. The Life that I live, so shall you." We're invited by God to take Him as an Example, and let our character be molded like His. What a thing. My. Then when we let His character be in us, then we have become sons by having the mind of Christ: mind, which is His character. Your mind makes your character. "Let the mind," Paul said, "of Christ, this mind that was in Christ be in you." Let that mind of Christ be in you. It molds the character of a son of God.

Abraham 56-1208 P:47 Now, healing belongs alone to God. It's the finished work of Christ at Calvary. Don't forget that, church, whatever you do.

69It is I be not afraid 59-0811 P:48 If the spirit of a gangster was in us, we'd do the work of a gangster. If the spirit of a singer was in us, we'd sing. If the Spirit of Christ was in us, we'll do the works of Christ.

70Adoption or placing 60-0522E P:23 The church has got to be so perfectly like Christ, until Christ and the church can unite together, the same Spirit. And if the Spirit of Christ is in you, It makes you live the life of Christ, act the life of Christ, do the works of Christ. "He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also." Jesus said that.

71Stature of a perfect man 62-1014M P:60 And now, we're supposed to do His work. He said, "He that believeth on Me..." (St. John 14:7) "He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also." You're beginning to reflect the works of Christ. But so many of us try to do the works of Christ before the reflection of Christ is in us. Now, there's the trouble. We find those things happening. You know it. I know it. We see these stumbles along the road. We find the scrap heaps of ministers, of Christians, piled along the road. Is because they didn't go into it right. And that's why I'm here this morning, is to try to teach this little church, and myself, how that we can become the dwelling place of the living God. How many'd like to be that? The dwelling place of the living God...

72In his sermon, The Countdown 62-1125E pp. 54 he said, "His first decision is a perfect decision, and has to ever remain the same, and we know it, Father. Now, He said, "He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he also." He cannot change that decision. He said, "These signs shall follow them that believe." If the Life of Christ be in you, if the mind of Christ, then we're concerned and do the things of Christ. He said these signs that He done will follow every believer that believes in Him."

73About Jesus - 55-0612 p64 "Now, look. When Jesus left the earth, here's what He said. "These things that I do shall you do also. Even more than this shall you do." "Greater," which really is "more." He couldn't do anything greater. But you could do more of it. "More than this shall you do, for I go unto My Father." He said, "A little while and the world (that's the unbeliever) will see Me no more. That'll be finished for the world when I leave here in this physical form. I'll be gone, and that's all they'll ever see Me. But yet, ye, ye shall see Me." Now, watch what He promised. He said, "I'll be with you even to the end of the world." 65. Now, who is the "ye"? And Who's the unbeliever? There's unbelievers in every generation. And there's "ye's" in every generation. "Yet, ye, shall see Me." He promised to return into His Church and do the same things that He did when He was here on earth. And the Bible said that He's the same yesterday, today, and forever. And hasn't He done all things well this week? Has He? The blind, seen. The cripples walked. The spastics raised up. Sin has been rebuked. The visions has come. Everything that's been said had been perfect, just exactly. Is that right? Sinners has been saved. People received the Holy Spirit, been born again, bore witness of the Spirit; signs and wonders has happened everywhere. What is it? It's Jesus Christ the Son of God, not with just Brother Branham, but with His Church, everywhere. You're just as much into it, or more into it than I am. This just happens to be a gift. That don't mean it makes me any more than you, probably not as much. See?

74Notice William Branham himself said, "not just with brother Branham but with His Church, everywhere. You're just as much into it, or more into it than I am."

7560-0911E Five Identifications of the True Church of the Living God pp. 90 "John 14:12, He gives the teaching what the church should do. In John the 14th chapter, and the 12th verse, we'll see what that says. John 14:12, so we read it, make it official. All right, John 14 and the 12th verse. "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go to my Father." That's the message of the church: "Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, and forever," living in the church, King of the church, raised from the dead, same yesterday, today, and forever, performing the same works, doing the same things that Jesus did. That's the message of the church. If the church isn't teaching That, it's teaching some false theology. That's what Jesus commanded them to preach.

76Let me emphasize again he said, If the church isn't teaching That, it's teaching some false theology.

77So what did a vindicated prophet say John 14:12 was? From his sermon Take on the whole armor of God 62-0701 P:82 William Branham said, John 14:12, Jesus said, "He that believeth in Me, the works that I do shall he do also." What is it? It's God in the church in these five predestinated offices, backing up every Word that He said with the Holy Spirit Himself in there, which is the Word made manifest, proving His resurrection, proving that He lives. All other religions are dead. Their forms are dead. There's only one that's right, and that's Christianity, because Christ is a living in the church of Christ (Amen.), making His word manifest, for He is the same. If it's the same Word, It'll do the same thing, and show the same works, and the same signs. Matthew 28 says so. Be with His army, in them, securing them... Think of it. The great Word General triumph in us.

78Show me a Five-Fold minister today who has these signs following his ministry and I will show you a ministry that fits the pattern of the early church. That is the ministry God is backing up with signs and wonders like he backed up the Apostles in the book of Acts.

79So he says, John 14:12... What is it? It's God in the church in these five predestinated offices, backing up every Word that He said with the Holy Spirit Himself in there, which is the Word made manifest, proving His resurrection, proving that He lives.... Christ is a living in the church of Christ (Amen.), making His word manifest, for He is the same. If it's the same Word, It'll do the same thing, and show the same works, and the same signs.

80Now, why isn't this being taught in the Message churches? Because it's not manifesting in their own ministries or in their own church circles, and camps. If it was, they would most certainly be teaching it.

81In The Messiah 61-0117 P:62 Wm Branham says, “They look like him. They act like him. They are his flesh, his blood, his spirit. Amen. That's the way God's church is, His Eaglets, His Messiahettes. They look like Him; they act like Him; they preach like Him; they do the works that He did. "The things that I do shall he also. More than this shall he do, 'cause I go to the Father." Amen. "These signs shall follow My eaglets." Amen "They'll do just as I do. If My Spirit's in them, then they'll do the works that I do. If they don't do the works I do, it's because that My Spirit's not in them."

82Now, look, we began looking at what identified Serpent seed, and we found that there are certain identifiable characteristics of the nature of the serpent, that he will do because that is his nature to do.

83And now we are finding many quotes that earmark the nature of the Spirit of Christ.

84Be certain of God 59-0708E P:49 If I had the Spirit of Christ, I'll do the works of Christ. Jesus said, "If I do not the works of My Father, then believe Me not." And if the church does not do the works of Christ, then don't believe that church. Jesus said, "These signs shall follow them that believe." And we've perverted it by works of man, doctrines of man.

85Discerning body of Lord 59-0812 P:35 Jesus said, "The works that I do shall you do also. Lo, I'm with you always, even to the end of the world," and if our spirit pulls back from that, we haven't got the Holy Ghost. For the Holy Spirit will say "Amen" to every word He wrote. Now, intellectual knowledge will pull you away from it, but the Holy Spirit will say "Amen" to His Own Word.

86Position in Christ 60-0522M P:83 Now, after you're adopted, all right, after you're adopted, you're placed; then you understand, after the ceremony's said and you've been put into the Body correctly. You're a son, sure, a daughter; when you're borned again you're... That's your birth. But now you're positionally placed. We've not received the spirit of fear...; but we have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. (Which means, "my God." All right.) The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we're children of God: How does it do it? ...Then he says, The Spirit of God will do the works of God. Jesus said, "He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also." See, see?

87See, that is how The Spirit will bear witness with our spirit, because he will use our spirit and do the works through us.

88Let us pray
