The Masterpiece 105
The Life in the Grain
January 7th, 2006
Brian Kocourek
This morning we will continue in paragraph 200 again
and move up through paragraph 203 of brother Branham’s sermon called the
Masterpiece.
THE
MASTERPIECE 64-0705 200 “Oh,
Church of the living God, bow your hearts and yourselves before God. These things
are true. I know that it sounds like that as such a great a thing as
that would be, would be so spread out over the nations; it never was. He
doesn't change His way. Just be thankful, Church, be thankful that you are
where you are today if you're in Christ. Because, you see, now, and remember, all that Life will be gathered right into
the Grain for the resurrection, but the stalk must be burned, the rest of it. The husk and all must be destroyed, and it will be. Don't trust in
your, them denominations. You stay in
the Word, the Life, God and His Masterpiece. Then what is it in the
millennium? Christ and His Bride,
back in the garden of the millennium. Amen.
Then brother Branham begins to close with the song, I
love Him…But just because he is singing this song, does not mean that he is
through with his point that he is making here.
203 I love Him, I love Him, Because
He first loved me, And purchased my salvation On
Now this last
statement is one that the boys who love to hold down the people will use, to
place them in a fear mode. I mean those boys who try to teach that there is no
more mercy, or that Jesus left the mercy seat in 1963.
In 1 John 1:7 we read, “If we walk in the
light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the
blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”
So as long as you are
walking in the light as He is in the Light, the blood of Jesus Christ is still cleansing
you from all sin. And that is our hope
as we traverse the world to spread the doctrine of Christ to this lost and
dying world.
In the message Called out 58-0109 P:30
brother Branham said,
When the
last one is brought in, then the Word
will not be effective anymore, it'll be like casting pearls before swine
over the whole earth. But as we see our nation riding under the tide of
judgment, and we see across the sea, yonder, black arms, yellow, and brown,
reaching out and crying for mercy, our hearts are stirred within us.
Souls in
prison now 63-1110M P:78 Everything that He had redeemed was written
in that Book. All that He died for was written in the Book, and He could not
leave His mediatorial seat until He had thoroughly redeemed, and He couldn't
redeem it at the cross, because they were predestinated in the Lamb's Book of
Life, and had to stay on there to make intercession until that last person was
finished. Glory.
So as long as that
last one is not yet brought in we have an effective Word to bring to the world.
So with the sin question answered, and the mercy seat question answered,
because He is on the mercy seat until the last one is in and child trained, and
then there will be no more mercy. But as long as the child training is going on
and He has not taken us home in the Rapture, then there is still time for
mercy.
But you never
know when that time will come for you. So you get right now, while you still
have time.
I was looking at a picture on the wall in an office I
was visiting a few days ago, and there was a picture of a young vibrant looking
person, seemingly full of life. The name looked familiar, as though I had had
this person in one of my classes or something, and I asked the person whose
wall it was on if that person in the picture was any relation to them. They
replied that it had been their niece. Apparently this girl, 19 years of age,
had been raised in a Christian family and her family had been concerned for her
because she had not given her life to Christ, yet, although she said she
intended to do it later. But every time her parents asked her when she was
going to make that very important step, she would tell them she was too young
yet, and when she got a little older she would do so.
Well, she never got her chance. She had gone down to
So you never know when your time is up, and your heart
has beaten its last beat. You know you are only predestined to have so many
heart beats, and then your time is up.
The apostle Paul said
in Hebrews 9: 27
It
is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Now, this morning I would like to speak about this life that is in the
Word because that is what Brother Branham said. , all that Life will be gathered right into the Grain for the
resurrection, but the stalk must be burned, the rest of it. The husk and
all must be destroyed, and it will be. Don't trust in your, them
denominations. You stay in the Word, the
Life, God and His Masterpiece.
And then he makes clear what he is talking about
concerning John 14:12 172 Now, you all can't be that one, but you can
be a part of that with your faith. All of them couldn't be a Jesus, when they
was on earth, but they could believe Him and accept the message. There was one
Moses, one Elijah, one Noah, on down, always been that, but the rest of them
could accept it. And they would've had no ministry unless there'd been somebody
believe it. Jesus would've had no ministry 'less somebody believed it. Paul
would've had no ministry 'less somebody believed it.
The
Holy Ghost has got no ministry by the Word today unless somebody's willing to
get away from their creed and come back to the Word again, no matter how well
it's here and how real it's here. It's here now. I know it's here. I feel it. I
know it's here. The Word says it's here. "Wherever two or three are
gathered in My Name, I'm in the midst of them." And I truly believe that
He's here, the same yesterday, today, and forever.
And John Himself
called it the Word of Life.
John 1:1 In
the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All
things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness
comprehended it not. 6 There was a man sent from God,
whose name was John. 7 The
same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8 He
was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness
of that Light. 9 That was
the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the
world knew him not. 11 He came unto his own, and
his own received him not. 12 But as many as
received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:13 Which
were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man,
but of God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and
dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of
the Father,) full of grace and truth.
And again from 1 John 11 That
which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our
eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; And he calls it the Word of Life because he goes on to
say in verse 2 For
the life was manifested,(How
was it manifested? In the body of God’s Only begotten son, that’s how.) And we have seen it,
and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal
life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us ;) through
His Son. So we see the Word is Life, It is God-Life, and every seed must bring
forth after its kind, or nature. When that Word of God-Life manifests itself,
it manifests the God-Life that is in it.
Now, notice how that brother Branham speaks of the
life being gathered into the grain, and he says that the Life has left
Pentecost and it is now a drying shuck fit for burning. So then where has the
Life gone that was in Pentecost? He said it is in the grain that is to be
gathered into the garner.
Now, I think it is interesting that in this Message
that brother Branham spoke called The masterpiece he begins by speaking of the
Source of Life, and in fact our first 4 messages from this great sermon were
called,
|
Masterpiece no. 1 The Great Fountain of Life |
|
Masterpiece no. 2 The Inexhaustible Fountain of Life |
|
Masterpiece no. 3 The River of Life |
|
Masterpiece no. 4 The testing of our source of life (trying the spirit) |
And brother Branham said the Life left the shuck. It
left the husk. It left Pentecost. So have you thought then where is the Life
today? It’s in Grain, that’s where. The same Life that was in the first grain
of wheat that fell into the ground 2,000 years, ago has come up and brought
forth many more grains. That is the way all plant life works. One seed goes
into the ground and the plant that springs up has many, many more seeds just
like the original. And the same Pillar of Fire that came back on the day of
Pentecost brought forth many sons of God represented by many licks of fire upon
the heads of the saints.
So you see, when the life started coming up in Luther,
and then in Wesley and in Pentecost, as each part of that plant manifested for
a season the life that was in it. As that life went from one part of the body
to the next, and on up, that life had to leave the other part as it continued on
up to the head.
And Alpha has become Omega, the Life that went down into
the ground with The Son of God, that same Life that was in Him has come back in
this our in sons of God, coming forth in the image of the first born son. And
if Sons, then the way they will manifest themselves as sons is with the same
obedience as the first born son shown.
And so we shall walk in the image of that first born
son, and as we do so, we are learning not to speak unless God tells us what to
say, and when to say it. We are also learning not to act unless God shows us
first what to do. And we are also learning that we have no doctrine but the
doctrine which is God’s Doctrine, and that is The Doctrine of Christ. And
outside of the Doctrine of Christ we can not go onto perfection. For perfection
which is nothing less than spiritual maturity as sons, comes from knowing as we
are known.
1
Corinthians 13:9 For
we know in part, and we prophesy in part. 10 But
when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. 11 When
I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a
child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For
now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part;
but then shall I know even as also I am known.
And finally we are learning to let go of our will in
order to receive the will of him that sent us.
And the sons of God all around the world are learning
to walk in the role that God has ordained for us to walk. And for that we are
coming into the image of the fist born son as Paul spoke in Romans 8.
Romans
8:28 And
we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them
who are the called according to his purpose.
29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son,
that he might be the firstborn among
many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did
predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified:
and whom he justified, them he also glorified. 31 What
shall we then say to these things? If God be for
us, who can be against us? 32 He
that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not
with him also freely give us all things?
